TWO FAT — Restaurant in Delray Beach

From the makers of Two Fat Cookies comes a great walk up breakfast joint right next door.

Jordan is the extremely friendly and welcoming manager, who'll greet you with a smile and suggest some coffee and sweets. It's a walk-up window only right on the street, so no seating space, but if you're ready to take your food to go, it's great.

I went for The Bae, a bacon, avocado, and egg sandwich on a croissant. The eggs are soft scrambled, which are not my personal favorite, but I heard a rumor you can ask for them to be cooked a little more. The bacon was thick and delicious, the avocado super fresh, and the croissant the perfect balance of soft, flakey, and crunchy.

Moving to Delray from Long Island, I wondered if I would be able to find a good egg sandwich. Growing up in the land of the BECSPK(if you know, you know), I was skeptical. But wow, this place is so good! Most of the items come with soft scrambled eggs by default, but if you're not into that you can sub hard scrambled eggs or a fried egg. The fat biscuit is my favorite though; it's an egg souffle, cheese, and bacon or sausage, on a biscuit. The biscuit is so bomb and has a sprinkling of salt on the top, just yum. I was a little wary of ordering the biscuits and gravy, because I thought they might specialize a little more in breakfast burritos and sandwiches that are easy to eat on the go, but the biscuits looked so good in the window that I thought I would risk it (for the biscuit).
