Warhammer — Local services in Denton

This store and the guy who runs it are a GIFT to Denton. This store and more importantly... the guy who runs it are the most welcoming that you could dream of asking for. Ive been in for 5 or so purchases. Every time he will offer sage advice on what i need, tell me what i do need, tell me what i plop on the counter that i don't need or offer a cheaper alternative and is welcoming to new comers and the experts. This is a great place to get into the hobby with a super cool dude who will guide you into what you need and furthermore be honest in what is the most cost effective and sit down and spend a half hour explaining the in and outs.

I cannot explain how great of a place this or over exaggerate how much if you even have a curiosity on 40k how he will explain it in laymans terms without trying to get you to buy something.

Brett ( I hope I spelled his name correctly) , gives this store life and so much expertise. I highly recommend this store, it’s well kept and Brett is extremely knowledgeable and unbelievably friendly. He will take his time with you and help explain everything you may need as well as answer whatever questions you may have! I was a complete beginner (still am) and I was met with enthusiasm and a plethora of knowledge my first time walking in! I got to play a game as a great introduction and everything was explained in depth!

Some things to be noted are the hours! Please make sure you review the hours before you visit. Mon and Tues they are closed and the days they are open they close from 3-3:30 for lunch!

Bret, the store manager, is very friendly and knowledgable of his products, skills, and background lore. He took me, someone who only knew how to roll dice, and taught me how to play various types of games and how to paint at a level I am proud to show off. He always greets you when you walk in the door and maintains a fun family friendly atmosphere.

The people that hang out at the location to game are welcoming and understanding of different skill levels. The friendliness and community support turned a passing interest into a very enjoyable and relaxing hobby.
