Good sandwiches and Fry's with a unique ordering and delivery system. If you are paying by card, there are 3 kiosk in the restaurant where you place and pay for your order. If you are paying by cash, an employee uses the same digital ordering system to place your order and then takes your cash. From there, your name pops up on a monitor with the estimated time left before your order will be ready. When it's ready. The screen tells you which cubby hole it is in if you are taking out. They bring your order to your table if you are eating in. I did like this system and can imagine on a busy day how nice it will be to know how long you have to wait for your meal. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and although steady, it was not crowded like I imagine it is during lunch time. I had the Jamakin Jerk Chicken sandwich and Fry's. I enjoued them both. All sandwiches are customizable or you can make up your own will all of the different options they have. The selection of Ice Teas are good as well. I will have to go back to try some of their other offerings.

Don’t worry we won’t come back. My family was visiting in town so we decided to get lunch. We wore our masks into the restaurant and while we ordered. We started to eat and my mom went to get napkins (literally 4 feet from the table) and this guy in the white collar shirt scolded my mom for not wearing the mask to get napkins. Then it wasn’t enough to just correct my mom, but he gave our table a death stare for the next 10 minutes from behind the counter. We tried our best to ignore the stare, but he just wouldn’t stop and he was talking to the other employees while doing so. After about 20 mins, we noticed this same guy walking all around the restaurant dining area with his mask around his chin (no nose and mouth covered) and then was talking with his employees, within 6 feet, with no mask. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! If you are going to shame customers for making a brief and honest mistake, then don’t be a clown and proceed to be a hypocrite and do the same thing yourself.

I can’t say enough good things about Birdcall! From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch. I ordered the Dirty Bird from their secret menu, and it was hands down one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sauce had just the right amount of heat, complementing the perfectly cooked chicken. Paired with a side of crispy fries and a refreshing drink, it was absolute perfection. My daughter went with the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, which comes with bacon, pepper jack cheese, tomato, and lettuce. She loved every bite, and the flavors worked so well together. The real showstopper? Her side of loaded tots—golden, crispy, and piled high with delicious toppings. Birdcall knows how to do chicken right, and their attention to quality and flavor is clear in every bite. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Chicken sandwich, Crispy Chicken sandwich, Grilled Chicken sandwich, Classic Chicken Sandwich, Crispy and Spicy chicken sandwich; the list goes on and on and on. You have virtually every kind of sandwich in the US available at the regular fast foods so when my wife suggested to go to Birdcall since she's had her colleagues talk about it a lot lately, I had to check it out (even though she's a vegetarian, her suggestions have always turned out good).

So the place at 5 points: Hadn't imagined I'd have a chicken sandwich lunch before heading home to Chicago the same day but here we go. BEAUTIFULLY created space. Felt clean, organized and efficient.

They have screens on which you can place your order or you can place your order with the staff at the counter (I'm assuming maybe eventually they want guests to use the monitors to self order). If I had to pick any negative feedback on the ordering system, it would be two things I noticed:

a. If you do decide to do a combo, you are forced to choose a drink and a side. (I'm sorry guys if I missed an option that allows me otherwise?)

b. Again, maybe I missed this but I wish there was a choice on the sides to kind of control some of the ingredients. I ordered a fries on the side (which BTW where AMAZING) but the salt was a little too much for my taste buds (this is not the restaurant issue but me. I tend to have less salty things to begin with so usually have to tell restaurants to take it easy on the salt).

The Food: My wife and our friend had the veggie burger made of crispy tofu. Crispy it was and equally soft. I think they have the tofu down wonderfully.

The chicken sandwich I had; the flavors were AMAZING. Great quality meat if you are able to tell the difference (I am). My only pick (and this is just to be nit picky guys), the chicken could be just a bit more moist. I think it was a tad bit dry but again, to keep a chicken breast juicy is not an easy task).

The Service: No, this is not a place where you get the exceptional over the top service but what you do get is a breath of fresh air. Folks who are taking pride in this new concept and are really willing to help/work/answer questions and give suggestions. What impressed me was one of the staff members named Dechen; She not only said my name correctly but she said my name correctly as it is said in the original accent my name comes from. THAT WAS IMPRESSIVE.

One big thing that sticks out to me and I respect Birdcall for this; I think every single thing they can make compostable, they have INCLUDING THE FORKS AND KNIVES. Ok that is stunning.

Some may argue that their pricing may be on the higher side but I would like to caution you; I think their pricing is actually underpriced. Keep in mind you can't compare their pricing to the regular fast food joints where chickens are treated badly, fed unnatural foods to grow plump, etc. The quality of chickens used here is superior. Having the operation here that involves a lot of compostable stuff to keep things sustainable is a HUGE INVESTMENT especially post COVID (or in COVID I guess we are still) where take out has sky rocketed which in turn has made the use of plastics go through the roof. It's about time we humans take personal responsibility and I appreciate this joint helping us do that.

I'm back in Denver in 2 weeks and will definitely have Birdcall again.

Cheers guys and keep up the...

A friend of mine recommended Bird Call to me because they're from the neighborhood and said they were pretty good. I completely understand when a business has a certain time they close, but that shouldn't alter the customer experience.

I walked in with my fiancè about 30 minutes before close time because we happened to be craving a chicken sandwich on our way downtown. The gentleman was telling us how they were about to close, and said we could dine-in, but the lobby would soon close. I don't take very long to eat, and I understood they were closing. Shortly after ordering, he approaches us and asks if we just want to take our food to go. We looked confused because he had minutes before said we could dine in. It's my very first experience at Bird Call, and I just wanted it to be inside the restaurant. After our puzzled look, he then says "oh no actually it's fine, I'll be cleaning still for a while so just eat here". Why even ask us to dine-in, then tell us we can take the food to go, only to then again confuse us on whether to dine in or not? Because this was my very first experience and I believe customer service can make or break a place, I was a bit thrown off. So I just took the food to go.

We later got our food and unfortanely did not check it at the restaurant. I understand it was late, but leaving toppings off a sandwich isn't okay. If you had ran out of an item or rushed because of the time and did not put it on, that's unacceptable. You could at least give a heads up to the customer.

Overall, the food was decent. If I wouldn't received different service and they didn't forget things on my sandwich I would've thought to come again. Unfortunately I probably...

I went here last week for dinner and I would have to say that it's pretty good. You can tell that it's a new place because the staff seems a bit unorganized.

I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and enjoyed it! It's reasonably priced if you just get a sandwich but if you decide to add anything extra, then that's where you end up paying a lot more for it. The quality of the chicken was great.

A cool, modern twist to the restaurant, is that once you place your order with a credit card, your name and how long it's going to take for your order to be ready, appears on the screen. If I had to say one thing that I think they could improve on, it'd be for the staff to take your order if all of the machines that take your order, is being used. The waiters/waitresses only seemed to want to help you if you were paying with cash, rather than helping the 3 other couples that were waiting in lines for credit cards. When no one was using cash, the waiter was just standing there doing nothing.

Also, I would encourage that they have napkins on the tables as well so you aren't constantly having to go back and get more napkins considering how messy the sandwiches were.

I do want to try this place again in hopes that they work out the 'new...
