The security guy treated women like trash!!
Last night, February 24, around 11pm, me and my group of my 4 girlfriends were dancing when we got approached by a female employee. She asked if we wanted to go to the vip area because that were a man alone and wanted people with him. We were hesitant at first but we agreed since we were celebrating my sisters birthday and we thought that it would fun. He offered us drinks and we were all dancing having a good time. When we told the man that we were married he became aggressive and extremely disrespectful, shouting and cussing us. We obviously left and went dancing in front of the DJ area which was relatively close to where the man were. That wasn’t enough for him. He paid a male security guard to make us leave for accepting his drinks and being married. We tried to pay for bottle service too but were refused. A male security guard, white and blonde, in his late 20s our early 30s kicked us out of the bar yelling at us for no reason because we were being compliant and not disrupting anything or anybody, we were simply dancing among ourselves. Instead of being protected by him we were afraid of him. Me and my friends have never been disrespected like this. We have left reviews and will post what happened on social media. Other women need to know what happens inside this bar. We feel like if a man can pay for your security man to kick us out because we told him we were married, that means your security is complicit with other forms of male abuse. It’s unbelievable and unacceptable that in 2023 women are still treated this way for say no. It should have been obvious to us that women are not respected in that establishment when female workers need to show their bodies to attract clientele. We would not make that mistake again and will make sure that that other women don’t make it too.
I've never been disrespected by staff in a place where I was paying to be at. I'm still in complete shock and repulsed. It's unbelievable that in 2023 man still use their gender to mistreat and disrespect women. This has never happened to me before. I will not return and always tell what happened to me to the women...
Read moreI purchased tickets for the Mimosa Fest that was held at Dierks. I was so excited. I am a Colorado native and have not been to the location since it was Lodos. I had high hopes for this place. We had a party of three. With our tickets for the mimosa fest, we received three vouchers for three mimosas each. It was packed, there was no place to sit. When purchasing the tickets it does disclose that seating is first come first serve. I completely can comprehend that. My party and I decided to head to the middle of the space, where the bar is located. I was INCREDIBLY disappointed with the lack of acknowledgment from the bartenders. We waited over 30 minutes for a drink. We had multiple bartenders who did not check in, acknowledge, give us a thumbs up, or anything. They all made direct eye contact with me and looked away. While working in customer service industry for over ten years, I get it. I understand lack of staffing, being busy, it is easy to over look customers. I felt completely ignored. There was a point where the bartenders were going out of their way to ignore my party. So disrespectful and disappointing. Once getting our first drinks we walked around, the location was clean. I enjoyed the beer pong, corn hole space and outdoor seating area. We where able to get three seats at the bar. We used the remainder of the tickets for mimosas, ordered additional drinks, and breakfast. The food we had was okay. It was a good wait time (understandable due to how busy it was for the event.) My food was cold. I asked for sunny side up eggs and sausage. I got scrambled eggs and bacon. By this point it was just comical and I just ate my food. For me the lack of communication from the bartenders was my biggest concern. Some acknowledgment such as “I’ll be right with you.” “Hey there are 6 people ahead of you” SOMETHING. I just got looked at and dismissed. Then, when others were getting helped when my party and I were waiting much longer? Overall, I will be starting a campaign to...
