Skyline Park — Attraction in Denver

I'm so grateful for this park! I have lived 2 blocks from Skyline Park for 12+ years and have watched it change a lot (for the better imo). I bring my dog down to the dog park 3-4x a day. I see a lot of the same people from the neighborhood several times a week, sometimes for years, and it's nice to have a chat while the dogs play. As you get closer to 16th Street some group (the city?) sets up games that are free to play. There is miniature golf, foosball, pool...and sometimes at night they show movies with free popcorn and snow cones! It's such a cool thing imo! When friends or family visit they always want to stop and play and it's always a good time. It does have some issues but they seem less common garbage, ppl not picking up after their dog (my personal pet peeve), pan handlers....All in all it's great for the...

If only the city could maintain it's parks. Skyline Park wouldn't be so bad if the trash was picked up, the landscaped areas weeded and the hard scapes kept free of debris. I walked through here on the way to the market and it is just a shame. Kinda reminds me of when I went to Centennial Gardens a few months back that place was an absolute shambles. Ultra Urban Park crossing the lo-do side of the 16th Street Mall. Not much grass or greenery but the layout of the park allows for nooks and crannies for people to get a feeling of privacy by themselves or with their circle of friends. Ice skating rink set up each winter just east of the 16th Street Mall. Certainly convenient to many purveyors of both food and drink due to its location. Very easy to access for people using transit; On-street parking for those who don't. Mall security office and well kept restrooms located on the west end of skyline Park. The free Mall shuttle stops at the intersection...
