The store seemed to be struggling. The refrigeration where the produce was stored in the preparation line was not working correctly and therefore freezing their veggies. The sandwich artist that helped us had to scrape some olives out of the container and then microwave them just to be able to put them on the sandwich. I would've preferred to have lettuce on my sandwich but it was brown and frozen so I passed. We ordered two combos and when we went to get our fountain drinks, there was only Pepsi zero available. The team member told my partner he could get a bottled soda, which he did, no big deal. I DID choose the Pepsi zero from the fountain and we left the store. The sandwiches tasted like they should, but when I took a drink of my soda I could taste the mold in my drink. I've worked in food service for a couple decades and it was obvious that they weren't pulling apart their soda fountain every night to scrub and soak the spouts that the soda is dispensed through. These machine parts need to be pulled, cleaned and sanitized daily or black slimy mold will happen very quickly. I ended up throwing away my entire drink immediately, which was pretty disappointing. The sandwich artist who helped us was efficient but less than friendly, I imagine that he himself was likely frustrated with the current state of the store and trying to keep customers as happy as possible. The lack of options for fountain sodas could have simply been an ordering/inventory issue, yet only having one option without being told ahead of time when our cups were handed to us was a bit of an oversight. The soda machine not being pulled apart and cleaned daily is the real issue here, people can get really sick from this and it's a really easy thing to prevent. Otherwise, the store was clean, the chips were organized and all else seemed to be okay. This store needs to tighten the screws and address some issues. If things like the sanitation of the soda machine is being missed, I'd hate to see what kind of filth and critters could be elsewhere throughout the store. It also makes me concerned about proper food storage etc. Hopefully someone in management will see this review and take care of these...
Read moreI actually worked here and the managent is terrible. If I didn’t need the money I would have quit the first week. We are left alone during lunch and dinner rushes the inventory is never complete. The prep is sloppy and unsanitary and I did what I could to make it not look or be that way. No point in saying names because obviously the issues at this store are known. Gross gross gross. I quit twice and both times was asked back reluctantly by the manager and reluctantly I came back hoping there would be a difference but NO it was worse and maybe the reason I was asked back. There are new employees every week and they quit every week. It’s obvious the management is the issue if not the owner also. Because I quit I get shorted hours on my paycheck and there are still two paychecks the “district manager” refuses to honor. I do not like writing bad reviews but when you play with people’s money the truth has to be told. Disgusted by the unprofessionalism at...

Worst Subway experience ever.
I order a foot long roast beef. I ask for lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes. “We don’t have any”. I ask why? “I just work here.” in a snarky tone.
This is a near downtown Denver location in the Five Points neighborhood. Therefore the restrooms are locked. I ask for restroom access. “I don’t have the key. The boss took it home. You have to go over to Wingstop” I say “so me as a paying customer cannot use the restroom?” She says “yes”.
The female employee has her friends in the lobby. Everyone is loud and obnoxious.
JUST WOW.
If this is a corporate owned location, the general manager should be fired. The employee should be fired.
If this is a franchise owned location, then corporate needs to take over or shut them down completely.
By my experience and by the poor reviews of this location, this...
