Ice Cream! Who doesn't like Ice Cream, especially in the hot, hot weather!?

My husband and I wanted ice cream, so we searched Yelp! for ice cream, and found Frozen Matter, so off we went.

WOW! We love Frozen Matter ice cream! Love this ice cream!

The interior is bright and cheery, with a large garage type door that is usually open, as it just invites you inside, to taste their scrumptious ice cream. The floor is hard cement, and there is nice music playing in the background, which is not too loud. The ceiling is high, with exposed pipes. There are quite a few places to sit down inside, as well as outside. We usually enjoy our ice cream outside in the beautiful, although hot (lately, very hot!) Denver weather.

So far, I have had the following flavors: coconut cake, jasmine caramel, smoked cherry, and butter pecan flavors. I can't say that I have a favorite, as all of them are good.

The service is very good, and the ice cream is delicious, yummy, melt in your mouth, WOW!, I want some more now, ice cream... you get the picture. Oh, they make the ice cream on sight, which is even better!

Parking is on the street, and it's not too hard to come by either. The neighborhood is the Uptown Neighborhood, and it's a newer area, fun to walk around. There might be a line when you get there, but service is quick, and it's worth the wait.

Frozen Matters, to date, is my favorite ice cream store, in the Denver area. I'm planning another visit again soon, so save me a waffle...

Go there. Get a pint of the Milk & Cookies. You'll never have anything as good as that.

Everything is organically sourced and hand made in small batch. This is the way that Ice Cream should be made.

With ingredients as fresh and recipes matching the freshness and colourful flavours, there is no other ice cream parlour in Denver that remotely comes close. Ever had rhubarb ice cream? What about Rose? Pineapple Peppercorn? All of these flavours are genius and work magically together and you will not find those flavours anywhere else on the planet.

Disappointing Experience at Sweet Action Ice Cream I’m so upset I don’t even know where to begin. We came in hoping to enjoy a nice treat, but the experience left a bad taste in our mouths and it wasn’t the ice cream. The young lady working behind the counter had an attitude that was just downright uncalled for. My daughter was so excited to get her ice cream, but the way the young lady with tattoos and piercing made my daughter feel so small and sad. It was like she didn’t even want to serve us. She slammed the cooler door because my daughter asked for another flavor of ice which was a single scoop. You don’t treat people like that, especially children. Where’s the kindness?
