Brought my family to Denver for a few days and we stayed here 3 nights.
The room seemed updated compared to other reviews stating it’s outdated. Our room seemed fully updated with new interior and carpet. I can’t complain about the room at all. My biggest complaint is the fact you can’t smoke cannabis on the balconies! Colorado isn’t very friendly to cannabis tourists. The laws and rules around using cannabis anywhere makes it to where it’s hard to enjoy the trip. The balconies don’t offer any views worth desiring, but it’s nice to have a balcony attached to your room.
Our fridge wasn’t working, but they sent staff in the matter of minutes to come take it out and bring us a working fridge, so kudos to the staff for taking quick action!
It’s on the outside of downtown, so it’s not the best location possible, but it’s close enough for the most part. We have our own vehicles, so we didn’t really need to walk.
Initially when we pulled up a valet worker did eventually greet us. Wasn’t very fond of his attitude and the way we were greeted, he seemed like he was very stressed. He works for the hotel and he needs to present himself in a more welcoming manner. When I came back there was no valet at all! I had to bring my keys inside and leave it with the front desk. I would say it’s safe to assume this place is under staffed.
It was enjoyable walking around and seeing all the fancy artwork and furniture. It’s definitely trying to present itself as high class.
I was very pleased with the fact the TV’s have their own HUD for the hotel which makes it easy to watch Netflix and YouTube, but for those that use Apple TV on the go I wasn’t able to setup my system because the way the TV is wired in the back.
Will all things considered I’d give this experience a very solid 3/5. I’m definitely going to try to find places that are more cannabis friendly for those who enjoy partaking in the fact this is a legal state, but there’s so many rules and laws against using cannabis in most capacities that it’s a catch 20/20. It’s legal, but there’s nowhere...
Read moreDo not stay here. We booked here because we thought it was an upscale hotel that accepts dogs. They do accept dogs, but the executive suite with a balcony was less than impressive- they don't even have a kitchenette with a sink. Trying to get into the actual hotel when you self park from the parking garage is a feat in itself. It's a lot of walking around buildings with no direct way in. The front desk people don't even tell you that it completely locks up at 6pm and you have to completely walk around the entire building to get the rest of your things from your vehicle. They boast about the restaurant downstairs and being able to get room service. We tried calling the number provided about 5 different times and the number doesn't work. We called the hotel and transferred ourselves, they didn't pick up and their mailbox was full. The front desk had to physically go and check where the people in the restaurant were so they could answer the phone. No wonder the place was completely dead. They have a holiday menu, but it's only for Christmas Day apparently. Just say Christmas Day menu, because I'd consider December 22nd part of the holidays. They don't have much on their menu, and the menu online as opposed to the one in the room were vastly different. They were out of scallops, so I got shrimp fettuccine and my husband got chicken. It was noodles with the most bland flavoring and the chicken tasted boiled. No butter for the bread and no flavor in sight. We brought our one year old daughter on this trip, and their crib they provided wouldn't stay locked. The bottom cardboard piece is so worn out that the bottom kept falling through so you can imagine our night of sleep. The beds are hard too. Tried to take a shower this morning, and the hot water doesn't work. At most, it's lukewarm. What an infuriating experience all around. Never will we...
Read moreI stayed at the Warwick Denver from June 29 to July 1, 2025, for a work trip, and it was one of the most unsettling and unprofessional hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
Shortly after check-in, I entrusted my vehicle to valet and removed my wallet (a black-and-gold Gucci keychain) before handing over my key fob. I placed the wallet in my room, which had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door throughout my stay. On the final morning, I noticed the sign was missing, and shortly after, I was inexplicably locked out of my room. Hotel engineering was unable to access the room due to the deadbolt being activated from the inside, something I did not do. I was instructed to enter the room by climbing across balconies, which I did with staff consent.
What followed was even more disturbing: my wallet was returned to me by hotel staff with all of my original contents missing and replaced with other individuals’ personal items and IDs. Upon inspection, I also found an unknown white powder inside the zipped pouch. This discovery, combined with the forced re-entry, clear signs of unauthorized access, and no attempt by hotel leadership to meaningfully investigate or take accountability, led me to check out immediately for my own safety.
When I brought this to the attention of management, I was met with defensive responses and told to file a police report. No ownership, no empathy, no resolution.
The Warwick failed to provide a secure, professional environment. I left feeling unsafe, violated, and disappointed by how seriously staff mishandled what should have been treated as a critical guest safety issue. I would not recommend this property to anyone traveling for business...
