They took great care of us... An absolutely incredible gift in our time of need... Only asking for donations if we could afford it. If there's one improvement, it would be to find a way to allow guests to go home as needed during extended stays as opposed to the current set up of having to check out and hope they have room to check you in. I didn't expect the huge facilities... The size of a hotel with many rooms. Also, a large kitchen to prepare your own food and storage area for your own dry, refrigerated, and frozen food. There's a Safeway down the road about 3/4 of a mile that is seemingly safe in the daytime to go grab groceries on your own dime. There are plenty of organizations that donate freshly made as well as refrigerated and shelf stable food throughout the week if you're short on cash. Food is not allowed in the rooms so eating is done in the communal indoor or outdoor dining areas. St Joseph's hospital security staff are willing to use their cars for transport to and from their hospital for no charge. So much love to all the staff that helped us along the way. ♥️♥️♥️. Reach out to someone if you're feeling alone in...
Read moreThis is a nicely equipped building. They have toys and games for kids. There are three kitchens. Many fridges in each kitchen for storing your food. They have some older game systems for the children to play on. Some local groups occasionally stop by and provide meals. I would frequently go to my local Sams and Costco to pick up supplies for donations though. I would suggest considering this place if you are looking for a charity to help out. They collect soda can tabs also. This place is run very well the staff members and volunteers are some of the most thoughtful people...

I had very little upon arriving and I was supplied with a everything I needed. The people who volunteer to bring food for us are spectacular. They supply us with nutritions food. They also have several people who are grateful enough to volunteer there time for massage and Reiki therapy. Gilbert, Holly, Cassie and Milana are wonderful individuals who really try to make your stay here the best. I appreciate everhwy have done for me and all of the other families who have been blessed with the opportunity to stay at this house.
