Visited weekend mid-afternoon and there were quite a few patrons (more like regulars) and arrivals just continued that by the time we left, there was probably 2 parties waiting for spots.
I ordered the Aloo Gosht Salin, a Pakistani lamb curry dish with rice and some sort of flatbread. The menu stated it to be "extra spicy" and upon ordering it, Ian, our server (I'd say, more the big honcho of the pub), asked if I like spicy food. A very polite way to warn me of the "heat". It was spicy, except, growing up eating spicy food, it was simply what I wanted. My husband had the Fish and Chips, his approval very apparent.
Very (!) casual, easy ambiance BUT (!), the food we had was unpretentious yet deserving high praise.
Do not expect fancy surroundings and decor, the food certainly makes up for it.
4-star only because of the lighting.... really dark inside for me (not their fault).
Expect to be surrounded by multiple tv sets showing soccer.
Service was......hhmm....a treat! Ian, I am guessing that was his name as reflected on the receipt, is a 1-man machine worth watching. He did everything all by himself yet, was fast and efficient. Did I mention there were probably no less than 25 customers there. Amazing!

Read moreReally cool spot. Decent beer selection and great food. I'd recommend the shepherd's pie and the bangers and mash. The sausage is made in house and is very tasty, but I have to caution against the scotch egg as it is unfortunately hard boiled and doesn't give a good scotch egg impression even if the sausage they use for it is incredible. I understand that it can be difficult to make a nice runny scotch egg so I don't blame them for this but I do wish it had that nice runny yolk. I can say for sure the bangers and mash as well as the shepherd's pie was fantastic, and someone got some fries near me and they smelled delicious but I haven't tried them yet. The bangers were very tasty and super juicy too, so I would personally recommend trying those first.
The staff has been incredible as well, Brittanie was great and the other guy (can't remember his name sorry!) who served me a couple weeks ago was also a great bartender.
I really like the atmosphere in here as well, seems like a really cozy spot. I can't verify the authenticity of the British pub vibe but they seem to do a good job, coming from an American. Touchtunes jukebox so either set your own music or vibe to whatever someone else is...
Read moreIs it humanly possible to give something a negative star rating? My girlfriend and I flew here on a business conference out of Nashville. Having seen this place over the first couple days, I thought it would be a cool place to visit. So on our last night in town, we walked two miles to get to this place. When we arrived there was no one to seat us or greet us. After a lot of digging, we finally found a table. The server hadn't picked up the tab from the last patrons, so we decided to wait until someone came to wait on us to give them the money. Five minutes later, no signs of life from the staff. Plenty of them looked our way, but no attention, no one to say, "One moment and I'll be right with you." When I flagged a staffer down, he shook his head "no" at me and waved me off. When he finally came around, we told him about the bill, then promptly left. It is amazing this place does business. Most establishments know they're not in the fish and chips business or the beer business or even the sports bar business. Most people who do it right are in the people business because they know without them it doesn't work. I recommend this to no one, and may God have mercy on...
