I have been working out here for 24 years. Two things, one positive one negative: The days of the $10 yearly membership that gave homeless a place to shower and take up all the locker space have been gone for some time; the weight room used to be upstairs and had more room and more free weights, less machines, it was a serious "big guy" gym. Combine that with the boxing and it intimidated a lot of folks from joining. Unfortunate for them, they would have found a lot of support from those patrons. For many years now it has been a kindler, gentler 20th St., but still the best place to workout near downtown. Enough free weights to get a serious session in. No froo-froo vibes of Uptown gyms. Staff is literally the best, knowledgeable and experienced staff in Denver P & R. Still a great place to box, play ball and lift. Powerful hot showers to hit those sore spots after you are finished working out. Highly recommend. Thanks to Bridget Farrell and the...

We were going to renew our membership but decided not to since it seems like a hassle to him. The gym is great but sometimes it does get too crowded and you will see people lining up for some of the machines. It's just not our scene but it's a...
