Food is great. Excellent pizza. I tasted their pizza at a wrk "dinner" meeting, Walter's 303 pizza, and Greek salads were served. And I loved the pizza, so couple days later, decided to order for dinner at home.
Stopped by, placed my order, I took one of their paper menus, thought I'd take it home, I have a few menus from different places as favorites, for future take out plans.
As I was waiting for my order, which btw, not cheap food. Don't mind paying for quality though.
And this is my first time ever at this locale.
A man came up to me. Now mind you, there is no sign anywhere, nor have I ever been told, not to take a paper menu. This man, very unfriendly, kind of rude actually. Giving me a fairly nasty look, says "you can't take that menu, they're very expensive!" Naturally my immediate reaction was to apologize, but then, in that nasty tone and look, says "we're on line!"
So... That was enough for me to definitely know, I will never visit this place again, no matter how great the food is. My boyfriend and I eat out quite often, and often with a group of friends, always in the lookout for great new places.
But what matters most to us all, is great customer service, sorely lacking here.
And that is really too bad. Had he approached me in a different manner, in a different tone, the outcome would've been completely different. Whomever that man was, he really needs to revisit customer service training, for customer retention.
Never would've had a problem being told not to take that paper menu.

11:00 AM - I really wanted pizza for lunch and wanted to try somewhere new. I ordered takeout from this place hearing good things from others. I got my green chili 16” and was blown away to finally find a pizza place that loaded up the cheese properly and really made satisfying pizza. Coming from Philadelphia region, I’m glad I found a place similar to a decent local joint back east.
6:00 PM - After trying some of the best pizza I’ve had in Denver, I had to get my Fiancé to try it. We ordered takeout, and it felt like I ordered from somewhere completely different. There was a massive gap of nothing between the crust and the pie, there was about 1/8 or less of cheese compared to the morning, and it appeared to be thinner crust when it wasn’t ordered that way. The pizza felt significantly lighter and colder than the one I ordered early. The greasy look I was gone and instead I was left with what looked like a big round cracker with some sauce and a two finger pinch of cheese.
I don’t know what happened with night crew or if I just got lucky early to have a lot of care put into the pizza. The difference was insane it went from almost east coast quality to almost papa johns quality over the course of a single day. Read moreThis isn’t a good pizza place it’s a GREAT pizza place. But it’s also more than a pizza place. They have a lot of other things that aren’t pizza but I’m too stubborn to try them because their pizzas are so good!
The last time i had a pizza from walters was 2 years ago. I don’t eat pizza that much. But tonight on a whim cause it’s Valentine’s Day I wanted to order some pizza. I’m glad I did. The pizza tastes just as good as it did two years ago. The quality of the pizza is never declining.
One thing i appreciate about their pizzas is that there’s crust. When i ordered pizza i went to dominos because i enjoyed their crust. I tend to stay away from a lot of local pizzarias because their crust is always flat, crunchy, kinda burnt, or just not flavorful. And sometimes the pizza is overly greasy and just drenched in salt. I personally am not a fan of pizza like that but the crust here is actually edible and good!! It isn’t dominos with their garlic crust seasoning but it’s good on its own without seasoning. It’s soft and actually feels good. The veggie pizza I had was great. Not salty and not soaked in grease.
Their ranch is also very very good. I always spend the extra cents to get it. Always can count on them to make a good order. Thank you to the amazing cooks and staff who have helped make this restaurant...
