Update: I was refunded $22 for my meal. The representative that reached out to me was very responsive and polite. If I never go back to this place again at least I know they care what customers think.
I came in for a somewhat late dinner on a Tuesday. After I decided on a drink and food I ordered at the bar. After that I maybe talked to someone once before leaving. I got the check before I got my food... not unheard of, but odd for a place where you sit and eat.
I ordered the 8 wings (parmesan garlic) and the hatch burger (with lettuce, tomato, and onion). The wings were quite small. They were hot sound tasted fine, but eight wings that size are not worth $10. When I saw the burger I thought, that’s not it, but I picked up the bun and it was… again a bit meager for an $11 burger. Also, calling it a hatch burger is a stretch. I could barely tell hatch chilis were used, which was the reason I ordered it.
I usually take pictures when I dine out, but I honestly thought it wasn’t worth it. That’s the general theme. My impression was a typical bar that serves food. The service and food and one beer I got wasn’t worth the $35 (including 15%...
Read moreWhile on vacation in Denver we happened upon Park & Co around dinner time. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a wonderful meal on a beautiful evening.
Side note: I'm a kid that grew up in the Philly area and ingested all versions of the local Philly Cheesesteak. After moving south a couple of decasdes ago, I found it frustrating that food purveyors would hustle their version of the Philly Cheesesteak that was always a weak clone of the original. Note: A Philly Cheesesteak has never included green pepeers, so please stop. Park & Co offered a Denver Cheesesteak on their menu and it was amazing. It included a green chile sauce that made it a totally new experience. Kudos to Park & Co for making a cheesesteak worthy of being from Denver.
We enjoyed our impromptu dinner so much, that we returned to Park & Co for a lunchtime snack a few days later. The service and the food are top notch. If you're in the area and want some great food and great drink choices in a laid back atomsphere, the be sure to stop in at Park & Co. We will definitely be back the next...
Read moreGiven that I work in the hospitality industry, I am warning everybody about the service at this place. Out with a couple of friends for a drink and a meal, the food and drinks were decently priced. While we were still at the table, we were presented the check halfway through our time there. It is uncomfortable to eat and enjoy a meal while there's the bill on the table waiting for you. The lady serving us did not ask us about her service long after she took the plates away. When we were leaving, she stopped us to ask us right in front of the door, why one of us did not tip her. She could have asked us right at the table about it. But, she did that to embarrass us. I've been to various places around the world, this was by far the worst experience I have faced over a $20 meal. Upon confrontation about this and asking for a manager, she was even more rude about it. You guys have set up a good business, but if you want it to grow, create a better team that is focused on giving people a good time instead of making $3...
