Golden Chick — Restaurant in DeSoto

I went to the Golden Chick located at 1100 E Pleasant Run Road Desoto,TX. The time was 11:07 am order number DT307. Ms.Anaya took my order and repeated it back to me and it was correct. However upon receiving my food I noticed that they gave me two thighs instead of a thigh and wing plus the chicken was old. Not only was my chicken old but I was missing the mashed potatoes that I ordered. I went back to the window where I spoke to Ms.Anaya and politely told her that I was missing the potatoes she kept telling me that it was in the bag at the bottom when I had already taken everything out of the bag to make sure I was not over looking it. She constantly gave attitude and I even offered to give her the bag back so she could see that I was not lying but she just kept staring at me and rolling her eyes. After a few moments of going back and forth she finally gave me the mashed potatoes that were missing and shut the window without even apologizing. She went back to talking with her other colleagues that were also just gathering at the window. I'm very disappointed that I had to deal with this because I was being very polite and not rude unlike most customers who are missing something they will be rude. Ms. Anaya needs a serious attitude adjustment. As someone who works in customer experience I know how one should respond to situations like this. I most likely will not be returning. worst service ever 1/23/25 around noon. lady was rude from the beginning saying my orders been sitting there. my PAID order! and mentioned that wasnt her store not sure what that had to do with my online order (the only one they had on the counter btw) i forgot what online website i ordered from and she threw a fit that she couldnt fuve me anything and that i better not show her a screen shot of my online order bc they cant accept screen shots lol so i pulled up my receipt, my credit card number and charge and she said she wasnt gna give me anything bc the online name didnt match the name of the receipt they printed which i just checked and it did match the order came out under the person that paid which was me!! i think at this point she was just on her high horse bc i proved it was indeed mine and she realized all that attitude had been uncalled for. so i asked for a refund bc she refused to give my order and was going around in circles about it and she asked tge guy taking care of the drive thru something and she finally gave me my order and said it was gna come out of her check LOL so she took a pic of it w an ipad. this is insane!!! please dont take anything out her check i paid for it. but fix her attitude or keep her at the store she belongs in. check your cameras too please i showed her a million ways that was my order. all the was left to show was my ID. food was great service was the worst of any...

I went through the drive thru on a Sunday evening and I ordered a kids chicken strip meal and a kids chicken leg meal, a 9 piece wicked wing meal and I added an additional 6 rolls. This is the golden chicken located in Lancaster TX, but I live in cedar hill Tx and decided to go to this one instead for a change. The wait in the drive thru was terribly long. I literally waited almost 30 minutes in line. So by the time I get to the window, the young lady hands me my food, but left off my drink that I just so happen to remember that I ordered as well. So I got my drink then pulled off and proceeded to drive home. I get half way home, my daughter asks for one of the rolls, I grab the bag and open it up to give her one, there's only 4 rolls when I paid for 6. I was just like ok, it's ok, it's just 2 rolls missing. I made it home, began to open up the food and to my surprise, my daughter's sides were not with there meal. The only thing that was in there boxes was the chicken and a roll. Then I open mines, I asked for Mac and cheese as the side with my wings, all I got was the 9 wings, and fries that I didn't order. All in all, I made a vow to NEVER visit that location again. I spent entirely too much money on all of that food that wasn't correct. Lesson learned. I'll never go back there and will never recommend...
