Solid Indian food. Smells amazing, everything just needed a bit of salt, which is easily fixed, and better than being too salty. We ordered samosas, the Tandoori mixed grill with garlic cheese naan and lamb vidaloo. The samosas were quite good and the sauces that go with are yummy - one sweet red sauce and one savory green cilantro sauce. I really liked the green one and dipped my naan in it too. Fried well, seasoned inside, and not greasy. The garlic cheese naan was perfect - cheesy, herby, charred, soft and chewy. Highly recommend. The lamb vindaloo was saucy and smelled so good; lots of tender savory lamb, and it comes with a side of white rice, perfectly cooked and fresh. The medium spice level was definitely spicy, but not too much. I really enjoyed the Tandoori mixed grill, especially the sausage-like pieces and shrimp. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and had this delicious char on them. Yum. The chicken was tender and moist with that signature bright red color. And there was definitely enough meat to eat for 2 meals, maybe 3 for me. And for $18 downtown, that's a good price.
A nice man who appeared to maybe be the owner was chatting with a table of folks when we walked in; we were greeted right away and our food was ready right on time, as we ordered ahead online. They didn't miss anything in our order - it was perfect, hot and fresh. I will say this: their menu is huge, and I've seen some hit or miss reviews. Maybe stick with the basics the first time you go - butter chicken, chicken tikka, biryani, tandoori, etc. Or maybe try one of the dishes that are prepared and waiting, as those are probably the most popular and made most often. I love that they have ready-to-go options for people who don't have a lot of time to grab lunch. As a suggestion for this small downtown location, they may want to consider shortening the menu. I did find it interesting that they had so many goat dishes, and one of the most glowing reviews was about their goat. Since I've never really tried it, maybe I will be adventurous next time.
All in all, fair prices downtown with decent portion sizes and excellent samosas, naan and shrimp. We will definitely...
Read moreKept meaning to check this place out and finally did today. The Bollywood theme is really fun and the layout is really well designed to handle flow of traffic with still plenty of room for seating (and they do have a restroom!). I also noticed they have takeout containers available near their soda station - which is super helpful if you’re dining in on your lunch break and want to take the rest home.
I came in to grab takeout and got butter chicken with rice and naan. It was just under $20. More than I usually spent for a random lunch but now that I’ve tried it - I have absolutely zero complaints.
This is one of the best butter chicken dishes I’ve had. And the serving size is huge! Easily 2 meals for me. The meat is well sized for eating (so I’m not trying to gnaw a giant piece of meat lol) and incredibly tender and flavorful. Genuinely some of the best chicken I’ve had hands down. They gave me plenty of sauce which some places don’t and I’m always disappointed because I love dipping my naan in it. I went with mild because I am never sure with a new place what their range is - and I’ll likely get medium next time. It’s delicious - but I added a bit of hot sauce lol.
The rice is perfect and aromatic and a proper portion for the amount of food I got (so I will have enough rice to last for my second meal later). I was so invested in my meal I nearly forgot about my naan (which I genuinely don’t think has ever happened lol) - and the naan is the perfect texture and with just a touch of butter already melted on the inside.
One of the best meals I’ve had downtown honestly. Especially takeout. And the wait time was really decent given how piping hot this still was by the time I got home (15 min walk in 50F weather). I absolutely...

Give wrong order The rice in biryani sometimes good sometimes burn rice they mix. I request not to add the old rice in briyani or dry hard burn rice.
If its one time I wouldn’t mind i have experience getting it many times. I order food regularly not just once in a while. Also i visited both locations but the one near WSU they never have these issues.
When people order big order pls put plates and spoons inside the bag. Stop being cheap and saving just couple of $ on ppls order.
Imagine you got your food and you are ready to eat and after opening opening your orders you find out that there is no plate or spoons inside how would you feel at that moment? People gonna buy food from you and pick up plates from diff places?
Remember im putting this review from regular experience.
If im paying for ny food i expect to have at least good food if not the best.
Put your self in that situation and imagine how would you feel when you pay for your food and you get bad food?
