I ordered over the phone and my total came up to over $66.00. Part of my order was wrong when I went to pick it up. The young man at the cash register asked a young lady if she took the order. The young lady said yes and told me that she repeated the order three times over the phone. She then gave me a blank silent stare, as if to insinuate that it was my fault. She told me that the order was already made so I would have to pay for it as is. I told her that I could not afford to pay for the additional item and the item that I wanted. She replied, "Oh well I repeated the order three times and I'm not throwing any food away.". The young lady DID NOT REPEAT THE ORDER AT ALL! I asked to speak to a manager and she called someone over the phone. The young lady began to tell her inaccurate version of the story by starting the conversation with, "There is a man in here that wants you to tell him no!". I told the young lady that I wanted to talk with the manager and she replied, "I'm not handing you my phone!". I asked her to put it on speaker. She complied but the manager simply repeated the young lady's version of the story. I also called my family to verify the order and my sister told me to pay for the order as is to eliminate any more trouble. I paid for the order and told the young lady she could have been more nice. She replied, "I'm nice to those who are nice to me, and you're rude!" Out of frustration, I tossed the pen I signed with behind the counter. The young lady yelled, "Don't you be throwing nothing in here!".She also yelled what sounded like an insult in Spanish. I told her that will not come back to this restaurant. She replied, "Oh well, bye bye, we have plenty...
Read moreI was really looking forward to taste their food. Mexican myself I was trying to support and consume from this restaurant. I knew there would be a wait since it was pretty full and I was ok with it, I sat down outside because it was packed inside. It took the waitress a good while to even offer me a menu, that was after she took the group of poples order which they were on the side of me we made eye contact so i know she new i was there but i just waited till she was ready to take my order thats when i noticed she went over to another family that arrived after me, which I was ok with because I thought maybe she didn't realize I was here first. Finally the waitress did give me the menu and took my order. I waited a good while, I knew they were busy. As another couple came after me and sat in front of me they ordered and at that time it was already a few of us waiting for our food. That when she comes out and brings a bowl of chips to the couple and apologized for the wait yet I had been there atleast 20 mims before them with out my order I typically try to be patient because I myself have sold food and i know the feelings of being pressured by hungry ppl to hurry with their food but I felt ignored not once but twice in that 40 min wait I stood up and walked across the street to buy food from the shawram stand. It took me less then 10 mins to get my order from that place. I didn't like the service I think because it was just me I was being ignored she was prioritizing the big groups even if they had...
Read moreMy bf and I went there on 3/4/24 for lunch. We both place our orders, and my bf proceeds to pay the bill with his card. The card reader ends up going down during the payment process. No receipt is printed because transaction wasn't processed, is what the employee tells us. She then proceeds to tell us that she cannot process the transaction unless we pay cash. We typically don't carry cash, as paying by card is much more convenient. She then tells us that she'll have to cancel our order, meanwhile another employee was bringing our order up to the counter. I've worked with countless point of sale systems, and I've never encountered any systems that do not allow for manual card entry. All She had to do was enter the cc number manually and process it that way. But no, we were turned away because of laziness and lack of common knowledge.
After we leave and go elsewhere for lunch, my bf gets a notification that he was charged for the food anyway. He calls up to the restaurant and is told that there's nothing they can do about it. Are you kidding me? Being charged for something we didn't even receive, and there's nothing you can do about it? Wow! How about you could've offered to give us the food we ultimately ended up paying for? We had/have proof of being charged, can present it to you, and yet there's nothing you can do? Absolutely horrible customer service and business practices. You had an easy way to resolve this, but chose to just basically steal money from customers. What a...
