The Red Hook Greenway — Restaurant in Detroit

I’ll still give it 5 stars as it is my favorite place to post up and work in Detroit but I really miss when they were open later on Friday and Saturday and the fun events they would have. The atmosphere and really big windows got me through last winter which was a particularly rough one for me. Love the food options neighboring and their treats are always yum. Great staff that typically play good music and are patient with my coffee refills (which are free if you don’t get your drip to go). Miss also being able to have a drink after a hard few hours of work and a lot of drip coffee. I feel bad commenting about the changes as I know they already sold their liquor license and there is no going back as I suppose the later hours were not sustainable. But I’d definitely go more if it was open later! Generally wish there were more options like how this Red Hook was last winter...

Such a charming small coffee shop in a seriously cute area on a Greenway in Rivertown Detroit. The coffees are great and the service is friendly, but I simply cannot resist their pastries which are to DIE FOR!! I'll often clean out their supply so apologies in advance. (Hi, it's me, I'm the problem.)

Opportunities. Red Hook is a nice coffee shop with good potential but it’s missing out on a few details. The service was efficient but not very friendly. The atmosphere was nice but not too inviting. Minor missed opportunities can add up. Also when we arrived the door was locked because it was 5 minutes before opening and we were shooed away.
