We were very excited to try the new Vietnamese restaurant in town. The place is very clean, well decorated, and the staff is polite. The service is so nice that for any party four or more must pay a 20% tip (it clearly states it on the menu). I was finished eating my food before my children and wife recieved their orders. The place is new so maybe the systems and processes are not yet established.... still, not cool to have to eat before my family.
The menu photos clearly do not match the food that you recieve; the pork on the menu photo is grilled and what you actually get resembles an MRE hamslice that looks boiled (I kid you not). If you do not know what an MRE hamslice is, imagine a dehydrated porkslice thats been rehydraded by boiling in water and then served to you over vermicelli. The staff here is nice, they are woking hard because this place is the new joint on the block, the place is clean, but my food was gross. I find Pho Time in Enterprise to be tastier, faster, and of...
Read moreService was horrendous, it took at least an hour to be seated with tables that were free. They have one person doing nothing behind the cash register meanwhile one server doing all the service, seating, and cleaning tables by herself. Tables took over an hour to be cleaned in some cases. After being seated folks that were seated at the same time got their food an hour before us. Appetizers came out cold, yes the egg rolls. The pho was okay, it lacked the traditional cloves, star anise and cinnamon seasonings for flavor. It seemed like they tried to flavor the pho with MSG because my entire table felt very lightheaded afterwards. All in all it took nearly 3 hours from walking in the door to finishing food. To top it all off the chairs were incredibly small, anyone that is slightly wide will not fit in them. I was not impressed. Bottom line, hire more people, change the chairs and please fix...
Read moreFirst off I was mad about the fact that I wanted Bún Bò Huế but when I order it with the waitress she told me to pick 3 meat selections listed under Phở section. I told her these options are for Phở and it should be added to the bún bò Huế because it woud not be bún bò Huế anymore...anyway...we ended up changing our orders. My mom ordered the combination Phở and I had the combination vermicelli noodles. The broth for phở definitely lacks in flavor, plus it's cost a lot for barely any meat and veggies. The vermicelli noodles is decents, however it was definitely a new experience when I was asked to pick my own sauce for it (this is the first vietnamese restaurant gave me options for sauce lol). Overall the food is ok, nothing special. I do expect more out of the phở since that's the name it...
