Brought in a laptop to Geek Squad for repair. They wanted to charge $700+tax which is as much as a brand new computer to replace a motherboard and power button board, both parts that I could purchase off eBay for about $120 and I can install it myself. Was using Geek Squad for convenience and didn't mind paying the $80+ for diagnostics but the repair costs was insanely high. If you have a computer to be repaired, buyer beware. The local Geek Squad said she needed a battery replacement. That was a total waste of her money.
