Drove 110 miles round trip from house in NE Pike County to get my wife's and my mother-in-law's wedding ring sets cleaned/inspected for warranty compliance only to find their inside security gate broke, and employee just sitting there and would not come up to gate to receive/return rings thru said gate, so I could get the warranty service done. An elderly woman also standing inside door wanting to pick up her ring that was ready for her. Had to pay a jeweler in another town enroute back home to clean/inspect it. Not buying anything else from Zales. My wife returned here on 22 March 2024 to get same done with her wedding rings and my mother in-law's rings inspected/cleaned again. Well, the "inspection" was about 15 seconds, and the cleaning was also faster than ever before. Wife gets home and later that day notices a prong sticking up (I can feel it when I looked at it). She ends up taking it to Douglas Brothers in Troy to get it inspected and properly repaired. She has agreed with me that Sales staff have turned into a don't care attitude with very sloppy service. So we have decided that enough is enough....

The engagement ring is white gold, and I planned on getting my engagement and wedding band sauntered together, so everywhere we went, I stressed the importance of the wedding and being white gold. When I went in, the sales lady pointed out the exact ring I wanted. I then asked again, is it white gold? She assured me it was, so we purchased. A few weeks later, i get married and go to have my rings sautered together, only to find out that I was sold a sterling silver wedding band. I went in the store and nothing was done. I called and spoke to the highest supervisor I could get to. Nothing was ever done to correct the situation because their salesperson was "tenured" and wouldn't have made the mistake. Read moreI placed a pick-up order through the website and went to pick it up on Wednesday, 12/22/21. I shopped online and did a pick-up order so I would not have to wait in the long lines. When I arrived, I was told I would have to be signed in and wait until it was my turn just to do my pick-up order; that meant I had to wait behind people who were browsing and shopping, even though all I needed to do was show ID and my order number and get my purchase. This is seriously a bad system, horrible even. They really need to rethink their holiday shopping system. Update: they were blatantly slipping over me in line and had 2 workers just standing there not helping me. Literally the worst service ever. 3 of the 5 workers were just insanely rude. I didn’t speak with one worker , and the last worker there cleaning jewelry was super sweet. I have been a customer of this store for almost 20 years now, but NEVER again.
