The attitude of the worker and Manager Morgan was rude and nasty. I travel across this country and usually look for a Cold Stone and I have visited several. However, I have NEVER been to a location with such AWEFUL DISRESPECTFUL service. First, they refused to alow us to sample the ice cream. My son asked for a sample of an new icream he wanted to try and the worker refused to give it to him. So he got the flavor he had gotten before. They charged extra for topics that I did not ask for and she did not tell me that she was charging extra. When I ask for my money back she refused to give me a refund. The manager was VERY racist. When I insisted on a refund she threatened to call the police on me. The staff was extremely unprofessional. I ask for the information to file a complaint and the manager told me that I could complain to her and refused to give me the corporate and told me I cold look it up on line while she was the one whose behavior was rude and unprofessional. I responded to her and told her that Cold Stone is a franchise and I know that franchise protect their brand by allowing complaints to be addressed at the franchise level. She was very condescending, RACIST AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I felt like we were back in the 1950's Jim Crow era where they took black people money while giving them second rate service. On top of that the manager threaten to use the law to beat us into submission for demanding equal service for a product that they charged us double for while the white counterparts in the store were treated with a different level of respect...I regret that didn't look at the reviews on this location because it appears from previous reviews that they have a reputation for being rude and unprofessional. After the purchase i returned to expresss my opinion to the manager on duty. She explained it was their policy (she is the daughter of franchise owner).. I attempted to explain it was for my terminally ill wife who needs liquid to assist with swallowin the manager said "how'swas I to know" to which I replied just ask. She said "why are you trying tomake me feel guilty" iI sai I was not she insisted I was. At the end she ssid "I don't care" .I said that is obvious. The girl and compassion she has won no awards for customer service. She explained to me that their cups cost money because they have logos on them I said I would have purchased one if given the option. She said it would have been the same price asas bottl water. Maybe the family of owners should have a small less costly option available? I know a more compassionate response would have retained...
Read moreMy husband and I had spent the day shopping in Dothan and stopped by for a treat before we headed home. There were several people sitting down enjoying their treats and several people in line. There was only one employee working, a young girl named Morgan. People just kept coming in. The line was back to the door. LET ME TELL YOU….Morgan was fantastic!!! As she worked continuously on customers orders she also greeted everyone who came in the door with a smile! Morgan made everyone feel welcome. She made everyone’s order effortlessly and got us on our way in a timely manner.
