As they say, you get what you pay for. While getting a good deal is important, I would argue that good customer service is more important to most customers. Unfortunately, Little Caesar in Douglasville, Georgia has not figured this out. I’ve been ordering the “3 Meat” pizza in the drive-thru for $8 for over a year. The sign in the drive-thru still reflects the $8 price (23 Dec 2017). To make a long story short, Little Caesars increase the price of the 3 meat pizza to $9 yesterday, 22 Dec 2017 (price difference only reflected in the inside of the store).
The main issue I am complaining about is the unprofessionalism of the Little Cesar’s Manager. After I pointed out the issue with the drive-thru sign reflecting the $8 price for the 3 meat, the manager was hostile and belligerent when I reported this issue. In a nutshell, he told me “And? So, what…the sign inside reads $9.” As if I can read the signs inside the store, it’s unreadable from the drive thru window! In addition, he stated “prices were subject to change without notice” and “it is what it is.” As a manager, being rude to customers is idiotic to say the least.
I respect the rights of a business to increase prices but it only seems reasonable for them to do their job and update the correct prices on their drive-thru signage (especially if they updated the prices inside the store). If you don’t update the price on the drive-thru signage, you should honor the price as posted, otherwise it’s false advertisement. This may seem like a long rant for a $1 difference but I don’t like rude people and unprofessional customer service regardless of the cost. Our family USED to spend approximately $40-50+ dollars a month at Little Caesar (over $500 annually).
A manager auguring and being rude to a customer over a $1 dollar difference is “pennywise and pound foolish,” possibly costing Little Cesar $500+ per year. Trust me; a 3 meat pizza at Little Caesar is a FAR CRY from a Meat Lover’s at Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut may cost more but the quality & customer service far exceeds Little Caesar. At $9, Pizza Hut may be a better value currently. I guess I’ll find out soon because I thru dealing with poor management and customer service at Little Caesar. I like a deal but you typically get what you pay for. I doubt that I’m the only customer that’s been treated this way. I will gladly take my...
Read moreBUYERS BEWARE: I made an order on-line for 2 large 1 topping pizza & 4 cheese round breads & 1 large soda. The on-line total was almost $20 & our pick up time was 8:26-8:34pm. We showed up after thet time to make sure they would be ready with our order. When we got there the Manager Naviel said that our order was not ready because they did not have the beef topping in the store. He said he never cooked our food & it was near closing time. So we told him to put pineapples on the pizza. He told us that it will take 15 minutes so we sat in the car for about 8 minutes & then went back in the store to just check on the pizza to make sure that they did not give us pizza that was undercooked. When we came in the store, our food already just sitting on the counter & it was like 4 minutes to closing & our pizza was sitting on the counter already. I do not know why we did not look @ the pizza, but we then drove back to the house & opened the box & it was doughy. We had to recook the pizza in our own oven. I called back the next day & asked for the manager, and he said that he remembered us. I began to tell him about our pizza being uncooked, but he immediately denied that the pizza was raw & that he looked @ our pizza & he denied pulling the pizza's out earlier than they should have. I told him yaw must have turned the ovens off because it was closing time, but he denied that to. He ended up saying there is nothing that he can do, so I said I will be calling corporate & he said sure you can do that & I ended the call as I had another call to take. I have not ordered pizza from here in so long & now I can see why I have. I was on hold for almost 30 minutes, but that tells me a lot of complaints going on @ Little Ceasars). It seemed corporate as it someone kept putting me on hold & not pick up the call. Finally someone picked up to take my statement & put me back on hold. But Marie @ corporate was amazing & she understood exactly what I was talking about. I thank God I had her to pick up my call. She said that I will be getting a refund for the whole order. I never had any issues when we lived in Michigan, but as soon as I moved to down south the rudeness & no customer service people that are behind these counters. Never will I go back to that store. Manager Naviel....he was Hispanic & notthe nicest guy on the other...
Read moreEasily the best Little Caesar’s I’ve ever been to. Lil C’s is its own special pizza chain. Incomparable to dominoes, papa johns, and Pizza Hut, what I like to call the big 3, Caesar’s offers the quickest service, at the best price. The Hot N Ready has saved all of us in a pinch, be it financial, or a time related issue, LC got your back. Not to mention, unlike many other pizza chains, they prepare their dough fresh every day, NOT FROZEN. Sounds perfect right? Unfortunately no. In my experience Little Caesar’s has suffered from a pretty extreme disparity in quality from store to store. Service being awful, not having anything ready to take home on a consistent basis, the pizzas being under/overcooked, not cut, or just wrong and not tasty, there is a myriad of different issues you can run into at any given Little Caesar’s you may stop in and that lack of consistency tends to drive people away. The location on HWY 5 however, is exactly what you would want out of this establishment and corporate should take notice of this little store, pun intended. I’ve always gotten a quality pie, be it hot n ready, or a specialty item, I know that when I get a pizza from here I don’t have to worry that it won’t be what I wanted. The service has been good about 95% of the time and I understand this is a hard job that doesn’t pay the best, but for it to be good at all represents good management and an above and beyond effort by staff which I am more than happy with. There is ALWAYS a pizza ready for me to grab when I’ve come in and this is on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. I can’t applaud them enough for their work and I think they truly represent the philosophy that Little Caesar’s tries to represent. 10/10 will go...
