We drove from Philly to try this place and it did not disappoint! This is by far the best pizza and service we’ve ever had which is rare nowadays! We had “The Bart” which includes “Tomato Sauce, Pecorino Romano, Shredded Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Bacon, Sausage, Meatballs, and a Hot Honey Drizzle.” Don’t let the hot honey drizzle scare you because it was such a great combination and took our pizza to the next level! The pizza was really good and there was no shame in licking my fingers! We also tried the meatballs which were fresh and so flavorful and we had the cannolis. It did not disappoint! We met the owner Danny who greeted us immediately when we walked in. He asked us how the food was and took care in making us feel at home. We almost forgot we were in a pizzeria because we felt like we were having lunch with a family member or good friend. There is a wall dedicated to Veronica which is the name of the pizzeria and she would be very proud. You could see the love that Danny takes in his food and customers! Veronica’s Pizzeria by far exceeded our expectations and we will be back! If you are in the tri-state, this place is a must try. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed! Thank you Danny for making us...
Read moreMy husband and I had Veronica's Pizza and some other items last night. I'll start with the garlic knots. I took one bite and decided that they were not worth the calories. I don't usually care about calories, but these knots had the texture of cardboard with an average amount of garlic. They ended up in the trash. Next, we tried the meatballs. They could have used a little more cooking to make them more tender, but the taste was very good. We got two personal pizzas and could easily have shared one. The pizza was very good. It had a thin crust, and the sauce had a good flavor, but I would never order toppings on their pizza again. I got mushrooms or maybe I should say that I sort of got mushrooms. They charged $2 on the personal pizza for the topping and put 2 cents worth of mushrooms on the pizza. I ended up cutting up a couple of mushrooms I had in the frig for my pizza. My husband ordered pepperoni and meatballs on his pizza. I think there were 5 or six slices of pepperoni and drizzles of hamburger here and there. The moral of the pizza story is to get plain pizza and put your own...
Read moreI ordered pizza twice from this place, as it was suggested by a friend. Both times I have had an issue with the order itself. The food is pretty good, so no complaints there, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The first time I ordered a time delivery and it was delivered early, meaning it was cold for my guests. I let it go and did not report it, but the second time I had to speak to the manager because the phone girl didn't ring in the order right and subsequently the pizza was not delivered. Instead of mitigating the situation, the manager, Rachel, came up with an excuse that they don't hear on the phones sometimes and defended the lie of her employee who said I did not place a delivery order at all. After hearing what happened, she said "it's all okay now," without actually fixing anything. She sent out the same food that had been sitting for an hour under their "warmer" ...it was cold pizza. Moreover, I was offered no compensation for the time or mistake. Pretty...
