Intro: We were vacationing in Orlando and decided to eat here for our family dinner.
Welcome: The host wasn’t very welcoming but not rude.
Waiter: Devin was a good waiter. He did a good job getting all of our orders. He returned to our table a couple of times. My son asked for orange soda but unbeknownst to us their orange is in fact orange cream and my son did not like it. Devin was apologetic and brought him out an alternative flavor that he likes. He had great patience because I just didn’t know what to choose as my entree. I finally decided on the crusted chicken but after thinking about it I changed my mind. My order was already given to the cooks in the back but he kindly let me know it was no problem and changed it for me all with a smile. Thank you Devin 😊!
Food: Appetizers were Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts and Loaded Nachos. The Brussels sprouts were ok but the loaded nachos were anything but loaded. Large chucks of chicken (a no no on nachos), jalapeños thrown on top, a sprinkle of tomatoes, and a big glob of guacamole is not my experience of loaded nachos. Perhaps they should change the name to just Nachos with chicken and some extras. I had the salmon (Atlantic) , pilaf rice, with the mozzarella, tomato, and arugula salad. My food was ok. It was not omg I have to have this again taste but edible. My son’s food was good but he had pizza and that’s kind of hard to get wrong. My sister said her pasta was good and her boyfriend really enjoyed the New Orleans Jambalaya. My niece decided on the corn dogs with Mac and cheese, she liked her choice of entree. The Mac and cheese did not look tasty (kids always seem to love it) or very cheesy. My friend had the baked ziti and a aid his food was okay. Now when he says it is okay that means he doesn’t really like it because he loves food and when it’s good he’ll let you know it.
The bill: The amount we paid for the food wasn’t bad. The salmon was overpriced but for the most part the bill was on point with the quality of the food.
Stars: I gave it 3 stars because the quality of the food was not that good, there was no greeting, and the nachos were overpriced for what...
Read moreI was very disappointed with this place. Yes we are on vacation and yes I'm sure it is busy here and I know that they are looking for staff. But I made a reservation at 6:00pm for a party of 16. And I told them we were looking to be there at 7pm. They informed me that they had a big party at 6:30 but they would put us in their sun room and that they would add me to phone message and would inform me when our table was ready. We arrived early and when we got there the host acted like he knew nothing. Then he told me it would be a few minutes but they would seat us soon and that we could sit at the bar if we wanted. We sat on the benches next to the host station. At 6:40 my phone had informed me that our table was ready. We were already there at that time waiting inside next to host station. I went up to the host station and a different lady talked to me. I informed her that I had a message that our table was ready. She looked at something on there computer system then told me to wait and went to the back. When she came back she stated that since we were not there when they messaged me that they could not seat us. I was upset and I let them know it. I did inform her that we had been there by 6:40 and had been waiting and that the gentleman at the station knew we were there and knew we where waiting and he never said anything about our table being ready. We were upset and we did leave the restaurant. I did look at my phone and that was at 7:15pm. I have enjoyed this vacation and everyone in Orlando has been great. But this place was a let down. I can't comment on food or their servers. But better communication and maybe better training would help. Also I feel they should have apologized for not having our table ready when...
Read moreHostess was very nice and got us seated in a timely manner. I am not usually a big chain restaurant person however I was with a group who insisted on coming here to eat and socialize. Upon meeting our waitress she was very dry throughout the entire experience. We ordered our food and drinks. Drinks took about 30 minutes to come out (Beer, 2 margaritas, and a water..) Now we decided to order our dinner. Another 30-45 minutes goes by before we have any food or any type of interaction with our server Stephanie. When our food arrives we unroll our silverware and there is literal food rolled up in our silverware. Waitress does not apologize and does not look taken back by this whatsoever, this leads me to assume this is just a normal experience. She takes them rinses off with water and brings them back to us. Still dirty. At this point the table has lost their appetite and we are ready to go. Another 45 minutes before we have to ask for the check. We inform management of the issue and thankfully they comped all of our food since nobody ate a thing. No, it was not busy at the time whatsoever. I tip accordingly at restaurants, if you are great at your job and taking care of my table….. You will receive a generous tip. Unfortunately, being younger there is some sort of stigma that young people wont tip and we honestly felt that was the reason we werent being attended to. That, in turn earns you a $0.00 tip. I would not judge people, especially when your job is to be a people person and...
