Loved this place, management made me hate it.
Been to this place 4 times now, I used to be a server at a restaurant nearby so I was recommended to go to Uno’s. Every time I’ve gone I get a bartender to serve me because I usually got with my s/o so it’s usually a party of 2. He’s a bigger guy and he’s the nicest, most genuine person I’ve ever had as a server/bartender.
We’ve even done take out at this place bcuz the pizza is just that good. My s/o lovessss ricotta cheese so we always get that added to our pizza all the times we’ve gone. With takeout and when sitting down.
My last visit wasn’t so pleasant unfortunately. Which was a bummer because this time I went with a group of my hometown friends that came to visit Orlando. We decided we wanted pizza and I thought I knew just the spot. A cozy place where we can get pizza, a drink, and hang out.
Until we got greeted by a manager. Tall gentleman with glasses and a headset.
Mind you; I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years prior so I’ve dealt with this type of manager previously. A bitter gentleman that micro managed everyone through the headset. Kept giving us back-handed comments about how young we were (even though we were all of age and over 21) when I asked for a “Snakebite” he replied with “I have no idea what that is and I’m sure my bartender won’t know either” and claimed something within the lines of “is that something the young kids are drinking nowadays”
When we asked for ricotta cheese for our pizza, he claimed they “don’t add ricotta cheese to pizzas and never have” ??? was it too much to add a topping to a pizza but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt to believe maybe that night they were out of ricotta.
I will give credit where it’s due though, he didn’t write down our order at all but somehow he did memorize everything and repeated it back to us and got the entire order completely right and atleast he was out on the floor actually working and helping his employees out of the weeds.
His presence made me and my group comically uncomfortable because he reminded each of us of our own personal stories with a typical belittling and arrogant manager.
Don’t fire the guy because I’m sure he’s a great manager and he’s trying his best to keep the place running up to standard.
But remind him that it’s a pizza joint. A really good one. A place that’s a great spot for a quiet date, a reunion with friends, or a family outing.
Don’t scare off your neighbors/local customers because now I’m skeptical to go back just because that one manager belittled me and my friends. Why would I go back to a place where management is going to make me feel belittled and...
Read moreIf there’s one thing my friends and I can all agree on, it’s that Uno Pizzeria is well worth the trip we make from Miami, just to indulge in their mouthwatering dishes. Our love affair with this legendary pizzeria started one warm evening when we decided to embark on a culinary adventure, and we’ve been hooked ever since!
As we walked into Uno, the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizza immediately enveloped us, pulling us into a cozy, vibrant atmosphere. The decor perfectly balances a traditional pizzeria vibe with modern touches, making it a perfect spot for a fun dinner with friends.
Now, let’s talk about the main star—the pizza! The Chicago-style deep-dish pizza is nothing short of a masterpiece. The crust is thick, buttery, and perfectly golden, holding up layers of gooey cheese, savory toppings, and rich tomato sauce. We usually order a classic pepperoni and an inventive veggie option to keep things exciting. The balance of flavors is perfection, with the crust providing a satisfying crunch and the toppings bursting with freshness. The portion sizes are generous, so it’s perfect for sharing (or not, no judgment here)!
Aside from the pizza, we can’t resist trying their other offerings. The buffalo chicken wings are crispy, tangy, and come with a side of blue cheese dressing that complements the spiciness perfectly. The salads are equally impressive, loaded with crisp greens and various toppings that are both fresh and flavorful.
What makes our journey even more special is the camaraderie that comes with it. The three-hour drive isn’t just about the food; it’s about the laughs, the road-trip anthems, and the excitement of knowing we’re headed somewhere that never disappoints. After dinner, we savor the last bites and plan our next adventure, already dreaming of the next time we can make the trip.
In the end, Uno Pizzeria is more than just a restaurant for us; it’s a destination that brings friends together over great food and unforgettable memories. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend making the drive. Trust me, once you’ve tasted the deep-dish delight, you’ll understand why we keep coming back...

I originally posted about a very unpleasant experience my family and I had during a birthday dinner at UNO on International Drive.
However, after my complaint, I was personally contacted by Mr. Edgar Cruz, Director of Operations, who handled the entire situation in an exemplary manner. His professional and respectful approach made all the difference. Out of fairness and transparency, I want to acknowledge that I was heard, respected, and supported by the company’s leadership, something that unfortunately doesn’t always happen in situations like this.
I still hope no other family goes through what we experienced — but I truly recognize and appreciate the way UNO’s leadership responded. Thank you. The Worst Birthday Dinner Uno Pizzeria – International Drive
I’m honestly heartbroken writing this. We came to Uno to celebrate my nephew’s birthday, and we left angry, humiliated, and completely disappointed.
Our waitress, Hope, treated us like we didn’t matter. She got the entire order wrong not just a small mistake, but a complete mess and when we tried to gently correct her, she didn’t apologize. She argued. She blamed us. She was rude and completely lacking in empathy. And as if that wasn’t enough, we were charged for her mistakes. When we asked for help, the manager, Nick, offered nothing but empty apologies. He literally said, “There’s nothing I can do.” Seriously? Is this how you treat paying customers especially during a birthday celebration? We even told them it was a birthday. We brought balloons. We were clearly celebrating. They saw it. They ignored it. Not a single gesture. Not even a “Happy Birthday.” Nothing. This wasn’t just bad service. It was complete disrespect. We were invisible. We chose Uno thinking it was a place that values people. A place where memories are made. But they ruined ours.
To anyone thinking of celebrating something special here: please don’t. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Uno, you owe my family more than an apology you owe us a night we’ll...
