So, I'll start by saying that we were first introduced to Carraba's picking up someone's food in the past, and the food had smelled so good, we promised to try it in the future when the opportunity arose. We finally remembered to try it out and made it our business to go on a Sunday afternoon after church. We went to the Irlo Bronson location and we each tried something a bit different. The restaurant was nice and clean, service was pretty good but I will go into some cons shortly. Price was hefty for a large group but the food was so delicious it was definitely worth it. Pros: 1. Convenient location near many other stores and restaurants 2. delicious authentic italalian dishes 3. Many great choices 4. Prices are pretty reasonable for small group but adds up pretty good for large group 5. Fast service getting seated and not bad service for getting food (was able to go on waitlist in advance to get seated faster when get to restaurant), and walked right in. Con: 1. Server (Emily) was nice but at some point she was annoying and kept picking on one of our guests and didn't realize her mistake until it was far gone, also when it was time to pay the bill she kept coming asking us if everything was okay while we went over everything. It would've been great if she was more professional all throughout the experience.
For appetizers we ordered a dish with mozzarella sticks, calamari and bread with cheese and tomotoes; for entrees we ordered lasagna, lamb chops with mashed potatoes and asparagus, 2 lobster raviolis with steak and chicken topped with cheese and tomatoes, linguine pasta with steak and shrimp, kid's penne mac n cheese and kid's penne pasta with shrimp. For dessert we got a bread pudding for dessert (which was free for my birthday) and a chocolate cake to go. All the food choices were very delicious and the chicken topped cheese was an interesting flavor but I would order it again. The bread with olive oil dressing was delicious as well as the soups. All of the adult meals vame with soup or salad. We tried the lentil and sausage soup and the chicken soup, they were all very delicious as well. The bread pudding was okay and I didn't care for the lime dressing that paired with it. The chocolate cake was good according to my husband. We are looking forward to...
Read moreA Delightful Evening at Carrabba's Italian Grill
Tonight’s dinner at Carrabba's Italian Grill was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the meal delivered a perfect balance of flavor, texture, and presentation, making for an unforgettable dining experience.
We began with the bruschetta, which set the tone for the evening. It was easily one of the best I’ve ever had—crispy, fresh, and bursting with the rich flavors of tomatoes, basil, and olive oil. The balance between the crunchy bread and the vibrant toppings was spot on.
For the main course, I chose the chicken stuffed with Faustina cheese and prosciutto, topped with a mushroom sauce. This dish was a masterpiece. The chicken was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and infused with the deep, savory flavors of the prosciutto and cheese. The mushroom sauce added an earthy, velvety touch that tied everything together beautifully.
My wife opted for the fettuccine with filet and shrimp, and it was equally impressive. The pasta was perfectly al dente, light yet satisfying. The shrimp were cooked flawlessly, succulent and full of flavor, while the filet added a rich, tender contrast that elevated the dish even further.
Every bite of this meal was a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of Carrabba’s kitchen. The combination of textures, the harmony of flavors, and the overall execution made this one of the best Italian dining experiences in recent memory. I would highly recommend these dishes to anyone looking for an indulgent yet refined meal. Carrabba’s truly delivered a...
Read moreGeorge Brooks. Pleasant young man truly enjoys his job. Double the work, two jobs here and at star bar. Very good hospitality in deed, friendly and informative and looks forward to excelling in education and seeking a successful dream. He could use a boost in extra funds for family reasons. Wine galore. Pizza Margarita is good, but I do like my crust a little more toasted. My next visit I'll request it. Other then that all is awesome tasting the goat cheese melted on the trio chicken order was really complementary to the pallet, I was surprised to this very delicious combination infused bursting flavors. Calamari very crisp and I thought the black pepper was going to be over powering just by the view of it, but it was not, very good too. Freshly chopped herbs, saturated in olive oil along with freshly made oven bread, all smiles. Free soup tasting: Little info on Pasta Fagioli Soup:
While dish varies from region to region it is most commonly made using cannellini beans, Great Northern beans or borlotti beans and a small variety of pasta such as elbow macaroni or ditalini.
