Fun spot to check out with friends or a date. The staff is extremely friendly and seem genuinely interested in making sure you have a good time.
Icebar section: The regular jacket and gloves that you are given keep you warm just fine but the fur coats do give it a cool vibe. So if you are just trying to have fun with your friends and take fun pictures upgrade. I was just fine in the regular jacket. It is a freezer so yes it will be cold. My only complaint is that the ice cup they pour drinks in (yes its an actual giant cup made of ice) is a bit of a hustle. The top portion is regular sized so through the ice it looks like you got a full cup of liquor but after a few sips you can see that the inside is actually much smaller. Basically a regular cup size shrinks down to the size of a shot glass. So they definitely are cutting corners in here. The bartenders are good and give a generous pour so it kind of balances out. I got the package so the drink was included but I would be mad if I saw I was paying for a full cup and got shorted by an optical illusion mug. Some awesome spots to take photos with your friends or date in here.
Firebar section: Nothing extravagant in here. Just a basic room with a bar and a raised DJ platform. Small dance floor. Again, bartenders here re really nice and pour a good drink. DJ plays some good music. No clue why he was just wearing a tank top shirt Djing but whatever dude had a dope mix. He can do whatever he wants. Plus he was clearly patient with random people coming up requesting songs which ll DJs hate. So props to him for also having good customer service. A bit loud if you are trying to have a date conversation but again still manageable. This place is nothing extravagant but the vibe is chill and fun. Customer service is on point. Didn't try the food so can't leave an honest review about it. Whether you are a tourist trying to do touristy stuff or a local trying to do something different this would be a cool reccomendation. My only complaint was the whole fake cup size in the ice section but they probably just dont want people getting smashed and possibly slip on the ice benches lol. Definitely worth giving it a shot one time. I would love to come back during a hot summer. That Ice bar will...
Read moreWe are local to Central Florida, however, I planned a little anniversary trip with my partner to Orlando which included a night at the ICEBAR. I decided to book the "Date Night" package for us which included an Ice bar and Fire Lounge drink for each of us, 2 appetizers, a dessert, and a fur coat upgrade. Unfortunately, we were too full from dinner when we got there and we really could not eat appetizers/desserts. The manager was super nice and allowed us to get a third drink in place of the food. Additionally, my husband is not a big wine or champagne drinker, therefore, they allowed us to get a fourth drink in place of the bottle. It was perfect for us to try unique and "showy" drinks (including a DELICIOUS dessert drink) while getting our money's worth from the package and receiving high-quality service and experience in both bars.
Unfortunately, the floor was very wet from drinks being delivered across the dance floor to the VIP tables. I slipped on the dance floor and ended up bruising my ankle and knee. Thankfully, our server rushed over and offered me an ice pack and medical assistance if we needed it. After I cleaned up in the restroom the manager and security guard both checked up on us and offered me additional ice packs if needed. If I could give feedback I would say the floors should be monitored to make sure they periodically are dry as the floor was already slippery but the condensation from the drinks being delivered definitely made it easier to slip. Just be careful for those who plan to dance or head to other areas of the bar as it can be slippery and that floor hit hard! (Without my partner guiding me to and from the floor I could have easily slipped again) I COMMEND the service and staff at this bar more than any bar I have visited! They were tentative, and concerned, and made sure my safety was a top priority. Our server was excellent and made sure we had an enjoyable experience all the way around. Overall, I would give this bar 5 stars and we DEFINITELY will be returning for another visit in the future. (I recommend the Coconut Dessert Martini a million times over thanks to our server's...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit Ice Bar Orlando and had a memorable experience, although there were a few drawbacks that prevented it from being a perfect outing. Despite the small and crowded space, the remarkable drinks and the genuinely kind and funny staff made up for it. However, the food left much to be desired, and the overall experience was not compelling enough for a return visit.
Let's start with the positives—Ice Bar Orlando certainly knows how to serve fantastic drinks. From creative cocktails to ice-cold shots, the bar's drink menu offers an impressive selection in an awesome cold glass made of ice. Each beverage I tried was expertly crafted, with unique flavors that satisfied my taste buds. The bar staff deserves special mention for their warmth, humor, and exceptional service. They went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and entertained, enhancing the overall experience.
Unfortunately, the size of the ice bar was a letdown. The space felt cramped, especially when it was crowded but even when empty. Navigating through the icy chambers became a challenge, hindering the ability to fully enjoy the unique environment. It's worth noting that Ice Bar Orlando is more suited for a one-time visit.
As for the food, it was merely average. The menu offered a decent variety, but the taste and quality did not match the excellence of the drinks. Additionally, the food service was slow, causing further delays and detracting from the overall enjoyment and I went way before peak hours. It's clear that the focus of the establishment is primarily on the ice experience rather than culinary excellence.
In conclusion, Ice Bar Orlando offers a fun and cool first experience with its remarkable drinks, friendly service, and unique icy ambiance. While the small and crowded space can be a drawback, the excellent drinks and the humorous staff make up for it. However, the average food quality and slow service leave room for improvement. It's a place worth considering if you have someone to introduce to the ice bar concept, but not necessarily a venue to frequent...
