This review is hard to write because I loved the atmosphere of this place soooo much!!! Man it’s different here (in a good way) and that’s what’s soo appealing! You walk in and there are napkins EVERYWHERE! You’re like what is going on. You see people wearing paper hats with the craziest things on them. The waiters and waitresses are super rude(they are supposed to be here) and extremely funny! The service we had I would give 4/5 only because we realize we didn’t get some of the caveats other patrons were given for the event we were celebrating which kinda sucked. Our waitress was still very funny and attentive. The menu was hilarious to read through. Here is where the 3 stars come in. Food and pricing. We knew coming in that food may be pricy due to location but food price to portion ratio for some in our group was hit or miss! Which makes what I’m going to say worse but the flavor just wasn’t there!!! I had crab legs with butter and I’m sorry why is there soo much lack of seasoning?! I understand the aesthetic of putting it in a net bag but getting pointy grab legs out of a bag like that at dinner is more hassle than it’s worth. The butter for the crab was almost bitter and did not taste good. I had to ask if I was going crazy and let other people taste it and they agreed. Their fries though were perfect and I’m a huge fry guy and I had tried their wings and those were good but one of us had two not fully cooked in our group. On to the drinks pricy but delicious!!! Didn’t taste like much alcohol were in them but they were still very good. I had the Squeeze my lemonade, royal buzz and red rocket. All great and you get to keep the souvenir glass they all come in which is part of why it’s pricy with 12.99 a refill making some get more and some abstain. So we have been to more than one Dicks Last resort. Our first visit was to the Pigeon Forge location. We had a wonderful time there. The server was amazing and we loved it. This location was not good. It started out ok but then went downhill super fast. The premise of this is to banter back and forth and to have a good time! Unfortunately, our server was overwhelmed with us and another very large party. Then I let the manager know that she was a little overwhelmed and that could we get someone to help her. Manager was rude. We were already done eating and we really had no banter back and forth. Nothing much had even been said to us. We watched all the other servers around us show their guests an awesome time. We just wanted someone to assist her with the proper atmosphere. If we had gotten some help while she was so busy then i think it would have salvaged the experience. We had gotten no hats and really hadn't seen her for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then she came back and rudely accused my husband of getting her in trouble with the manager. Nope I said something. It wasn't in a playful tone. She was being a jerk. We were celebrating my daughter's and her friends birthday and this experience has ruined the whole vibe of our night. I ordered a strawberry margarita and never received it. Some of the cheese sticks were overcooked and we let the manager know that when he brought us the check. He was rude again and said we should have told him already not wait until he was bringing us the check. Our first interaction he said something and walked away. I am not going to chase after you to tell you something. What the heck is a resort fee from a restaurant? We got charged tax and a resort fee. No where does it tell you about this fee. Yesterday was my grandson birthday and I wanted to bring him here because I thought he would get a kick out of the experience. The ONLY best part of about coming here was the bartender that was so sassy. We loved him. BUT when we got our table it was so much confusion because my daughter had ordered at the bar and came over to the table. That’s where it went all down hill. I had to get the manager that passed by to tell him I understood if some thought we were taking care of but we need a person here to take our order. Second my food was trash and cold except for the wings and cheese sticks was ok and the pickles was plain nasty n cold (I had the platter combo) I wasn’t go complain and didn’t. My daughter food was great that she ordered from the bar EVEN HER FRIED PICKLES WAS NICE HOT AND GOOD!!!. When I got my bill I was trying to make sure everything was right and gave to grand daughter to check and she seen that they added Mac and cheese on my bill. I didn’t order Mac n cheese I ordered Mac n cheese with chicken (which we received and was semi cold and not up to par). So when I got the manager to tell him I didn’t order Mac n cheese that is something extra on my ticket he acted like I was not telling the truth. And my grand notice he was frustrated.
