We did not have a good experience unfortunately. This place is very deceitful and just filthy. If you’re booking an Hilton hotel thinking you’re going to get quality and cleanliness here, please look elsewhere. Our initial room (413) was not clean and was visibly dirty with multiple areas of concern. We had to request to be moved into a new room very late at night. Fortunately the new room was a slight improvement and we were able to get some sleep. Sadly, I cannot say we would stay again. I also do not feel it's fair to make Hilton Honors members pay up front for incidentals when it is not a resort atmosphere. If this is something that is required I would like for it to be disclosed prior to booking via the Hilton app or website. I have just stayed at a very nice Hilton in Alpharetta, GA about 2 weeks ago which was also booked via the app and we received our digital key and did not incur a hold for incidentals/deposit. It's especially concerning to have a hold for a deposit when the hotel room has all of the existing issues that ours did. I had to take pictures of everything that was wrong with the hotel room and all the damages throughout the room to ensure we would not be falsely accused of anything. Rooms with unresolved damages or issues should not be hosting hotel guests as it's risky for the guest as they could be falsely accused of causing said damage. Ultimately, the hotel is lacking in cleanliness and maintenance. Stains on the carpet, surfaces clearly not wiped down, a layer of dust and grime on everything, hair found in bed linens, shower was not clean, stains on headrest, stains on curtains, rips on sofa, rip on the footrest that was in front of the sofa. A bug was found when observing the headrest area of the bed behind the nightstand however it was not a bed bug and I honestly am not sure what type of bug it was. It crawled into the crack in the back of the nightstand and at this point we decided to call the front desk to request a better room. Truthfully we wanted to leave but we had 4 sleepy children with us and just needed to get some sleep so we could get up early and continue on our trip.

This place has so much potential if they actually put the money into it. As it is a Motel appearance with Hotel prices. The room has mold in the vents, and every time the air kicks on, it just fills the room. Every morning of my 4 day stay for work, I woke up sicker and sicker from the mold. The floors look like they have never been vacuumed in months, let alone the floors mopped. Chips and other crusty all over the floor from who knows when. For 2 days, there was one working elevator with my room on the 3rd floor and on the completely other end of the hotel. The working one elevator had hand prints where someone was obviously stuck and trying to get out. My shower head was broken off, and the floor in the bathroom had rust all around the tub and door frames. Light switches are caked with either mold or dirt, same with the lamps, but there sure are at least 3 stickers around the room on how you can tip the effortless maid service. Checking in the guy talked to me like I was 6 and repeated over and over that my room would not be cleaned unless I gave them a 24 hour notice, I came back from work my first day to find my clothes laid out on the bed and trash taken out but the carpets still dirty, even after I was told at least 4 times I needed ask the front desk for maid service 24 hours in advance. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but they give you a bed pad sham for you to use as a blanket was super werid and kinda gross. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. If my work wasn't paying for this room, I would have walked out and demanded a refund. It's not worth the nearly 900 bucks for the 4 days. Hopefully, they will take that money and fix the elevators and get their ducts cleaned because this is a serious health and safety hazard.

This review reflects my direct and personal experience at this hotel. I understand that some guests may have had different rooms or slightly better stays, but what I encountered was unacceptable by any standard. I have stayed at countless hotels in my life, but this was by far the most revolting, stress-inducing, nightmare of a stay I have ever experienced. Every single negative review you read about this place is absolutely true! true!and then some. The moment you walk in, you are greeted not by hospitality, but by the stench of mold that clings to your clothes like a curse. The room was filthy beyond imagination, with neglect visible in every corner. The longer I stayed, the more unbearable it became. What should have been a place of rest turned into a chamber of misery. This “hotel” is an insult to travelers, an embarrassment to the brand, and a health hazard to anyone unlucky enough to book it. Calling it dirty would be a compliment. Calling it stressful would be merciful. It was a full-scale assault on my sanity. If there were any justice, this place would be condemned and bulldozed into oblivion. Until then, I urge you: do yourself a favor and run, RUN! in the opposite direction. This is not just a bad hotel. It is a cautionary tale. That said, if there’s a silver lining, it’s this: at least I survived. Maybe some guests had better rooms, but mine felt more like a horror movie set than a hotel. On the bright side, if I ever need to train for the apocalypse, I now know exactly where to go. To anyone else who has stayed here, I feel your pain. Maybe we should start a support group with the motto: “We checked in… and barely made it out alive. Honestly, even 1 star feels far too generous.

We arrived at Homewood Suites after a stressful night at another property. It was 3am, the kids were worn out, and honestly, we were all just hoping for a clean bed. What we got was so much more than that. The front desk team greeted us like we were old friends, not just late night guests. At that hour, you do not expect warmth and kindness—but that is exactly what we received. It set the tone for the entire stay.||From the moment we walked into our suite, we felt a shift. The space was calm, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. Beds were inviting, the living area felt cosy, and there was just this easy sense of comfort throughout. It was spacious enough for our whole family to spread out, but still had a relaxed, homely feel that made us want to come back to the room at the end of each day.||The kitchenette was one of those practical touches that made everything easier. Having a full sized fridge freezer meant we could store drinks and food without constantly relying on takeaways or restaurants. With enough cutlery, plates, and essentials already in the cupboards, we were able to prepare simple meals and snacks whenever it suited us. It added a bit of calm and convenience to our stay, especially with the kids needing constant refuelling.||The bathrooms were immaculate, and fresh towels and bedding were provided every couple of days without any fuss. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and everything worked as it should—the TV signal was clear, the lighting was warm and inviting, and the air conditioning was quiet and effective. Nothing felt worn out or neglected. Someone clearly takes pride in maintaining this place.||Even during busy breakfast hours, we always found a table big enough for the six of us. The food selection was great, with enough variety to keep both adults and kids happy. Staff were always visible, helpful, and friendly. Every time we passed reception, whether early in the morning or late at night, we were greeted with a smile. These little moments, repeated over several days, leave an impression. It felt like we mattered, not just like we were passing through.||The pool was clean and well kept, a great place for a quick dip or to relax in the afternoons. It does sit in the building’s shade for part of the day, which meant it was not always as warm as we expected, but it was still a lovely spot to unwind. And the parking situation was excellent. Well lit, easy to access, and we always felt secure coming and going at all hours.||But more than the amenities or location, though it really is central to everything, the thing that stood out was the feeling this hotel gave us. It became part of the reason we loved our Orlando trip so much. It gave us a place to rest, reset, and enjoy time together without stress. Travelling as a family can sometimes feel chaotic, but this hotel made it smoother in all the right ways.||I have stayed at plenty of hotels over the years, but this one genuinely left a mark. It was not flashy or over the top, it was simply done right—with care, consistency, and kindness. I would return without hesitation and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Orlando with or without kids. It made our trip better....

I’m shocked that the Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-International Drive/Convention Center bears the Hilton name. As a Diamond member, I expect a basic level of cleanliness, comfort, and functionality—none of which were present during our recent stay.|From the moment we entered our suite, it was clear this property has serious health, safety, and maintenance issues:|Noise Pollution: Our first room was plagued by constant clanking and banging noises coming from within the walls, making sleep nearly impossible. It sounded like someone was hammering metal pipes all night. We were moved to a second room where, thankfully, this issue was resolved—but most other issues remained.|Dirty and Damaged Room: The carpet throughout the suite was heavily stained, ripped, and filthy—far beyond what could be expected, even in a high-traffic hotel. The sleeper sofa was unusable: stained, ripped, broken zippers, and a misaligned mattress that sloped more than 12 degrees—making it impossible to sleep comfortably.|Offensive Odors: The room smelled awful. The garbage disposal reeked of rotting food. The extra bedding stored in the closet reeked of chemicals or cat urine, and the entire first floor had a strong mildew stench due to wet carpet. The hotel tried masking it with overpowering deodorizers, which made it even worse—like riding in a locker room on wheels.|Insects in the Room: Unsurprisingly, we found ants crawling around—likely drawn by the dirty carpet, old food remnants, and damp conditions.|Elevators Barely Working: Only one of the three elevators was operational in this six-story hotel with over 280 rooms. With a major convention in town, the waits were absurd. Being on the fifth floor with young children, this was a major inconvenience.|We immediately brought our concerns to the front desk. After being moved to a second room (with fewer noises but the same foul conditions), we tried contacting Hilton directly. Unfortunately, the nearby properties with better reviews were all booked. Ultimately, the only resolution offered was a one-night refund and a move to a lower floor. Frankly, this was insulting given the number and severity of issues we encountered. After receiving the invoice, we saw that the refund was still missing—despite what had been promised. We had to go all the way back to the front desk and demand they fix it immediately, which should never have been necessary in the first place.|This property is well below Hilton standards. Between the unsanitary conditions, broken furniture, persistent odors, pest problems, and general neglect, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone—especially not families.|If Hilton cares about its brand integrity, this location should either undergo a complete renovation or be removed from the Hilton...

Don't waste your time calling their Sales Department for special group rates for large parties or events.

The Homewood Suites by Hilton Sales Department DO NOT OFFER any special group rates for large parties.

In fact, the Sales Manager Debbie didn't offer any special group rates to block about 10-15 rooms for my birthday next month here at the Homewood Suites by Hilton. She initially quoted me more than what reservations quoted me for a standard room rate.

A Double Queen Suite was $141 and a King Suite was $125 for a one night stay and both standard rates were lower than the rate Debbie initially quoted me. I asked her if that was the best she could do and she stated it was. I was aggravated when she told me that so I ended the conversation.

Unfortunately I still had a dilemma, I needed rooms near the restaurant/bar where all of my friends and family were coming down to celebrate my birthday and Homewood Suites by Hilton were one of the closest. Since I had previous experience as a Sales Coordinator for Marriott and we always did our best to give the very Best Rate we could and normally the group rate would be significantly better rate than a regular room rate, I made another attempt. This time explaining my background and how we always offered better rates for more than 10 rooms being booked at one where I worked.

When I asked Debbie if that was the best rate she could give me that the rate she gave me was higher than what a regular reservation rate was, she stated "she was going to see if she could give me a better rate but she doubts it" and placed me on hold. When she came back to the line she said "after discussing it with her Revenue Manager the best rate she could give me was $139". $139 was definitely higher than the King Suite Rate and a $2.00 difference from the Queen Suite rate. Are you kidding me? At that point, I just realized there was no point in wasting my time trying to discuss it with her any further.

*They DID NOT deserve any of our money *

I hope the Owner(s) and General Manager see this review and how their Sales and Revenue Manager lost a great opportunity. Not only was I looking to book rooms for my birthday but I'm also own an event planning company and I book rooms for my clients all of the time but I can guarantee that I will definitely steer my clients away from this hotel since I do my best to save my clients money whenever I can and clearly Debbie and her Revenue Manager DO NOT.

Lastly, I would like you all to know that I gave my business for my upcoming birthday to the SpringHill Suites by Marriott who as always offer a better group rate than their standard room rate. Oh and it was a much better rate than what the Homewood Suites by...
