Updated 08Oct2023. Last night, Vito's provided an experience for us that will not soon be forgotten. The night in it's entirety from the complimentary valet service to the dessert presentation was, for a lack of better words, simply perfect. The operating partner, Jonathan, greeted us at the door and seated us as well. All restaurant upper level management should exhibit this type of visibility and committment to excellence such as the team at Vito's has and continues to do. The entire staff should be commended for their professionalism, attention to detail , and passion for their craft. Our server, JC, exhibited a level of commitment rarely seen in the industry. His knowledge and love for his craft truly made our evening second to none.
The food and drinks were no different than the service, simply fantastic. The dirty Grey Whale gin martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was superb. For an appetizer, we had the mozzarella malazon. This dish was most delectable and was hands down the best cheese dish we've ever experienced. For dinner, we had the new F U "Freaking Unbelievable" filet, which is a new plant based steak offering. Even though I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, this dish had flavor beyond my imagination. The steak had a perfect sear and the temperature was perfect. I highly recommend this dish to anyone who is looking for a true culinary masterpiece. I personally had the 24oz bone in prime ribeye which was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. For a side dish, the crispy brussel sprouts are a must try. For dessert, a special fruit dish that was dusted with cinnamon was created.
Overall, dining at Vito's was a truly memorable experience and we highly recommend this establishment to any and all who seek a level of service and quality second to none.
Below is a previous review that is no longer pertinent.
Upscale and intimate as one would expect from a high end steakhouse. Bartender was attentive and entertaining. Great smoked old fashioned. The house salad was tasteful. That's where the positives end. The tomahawk ribeye was bland and the colossal lobster tail was tough and lacking flavor. Both types of mashed potatoes lacked flavor as well. Restaurant was not busy as we were able to book a reservation 2 hours prior to arrival. That being said, the service was slow as our server took 15 to 20 minutes to offer us water. I've been to the I-Drive area over 50 times and have been looking forward to eating at this establishment. Needless to say, it was a complete letdown. Save your money and go to STK...

My spouse and I chose Vito's Chop House in Orlando to mark our first wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be nothing short of magical—a perfect blend of romance, indulgence, and unforgettable hospitality. From the moment we stepped into the elegant, intimate atmosphere that whispers classic steakhouse charm with a touch of Italian flair, we knew we'd picked the right spot for this milestone.
The service here is truly second to none; our server anticipated our every need with a warmth that felt personal, not performative. They seamlessly guided us through the menu, sharing insights on the aged steaks and fresh Italian specialties that make Vito's a standout. We started with their signature bread and olives, which arrived warm and brimming with flavor, setting a cozy tone. A crisp salad followed, bursting with freshness, and then the star of the show: the bone-in filet mignon. Cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with rich, savory notes—it was hands down the best steak we've ever savored. Paired with grilled asparagus that was charred just right and a few expertly mixed cocktails, every bite and sip elevated the evening.
But what took our breath away was the genuine thoughtfulness from the team. Without us even mentioning the occasion in advance, they surprised us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a heartfelt handwritten card. To top it all off, our tiramisu dessert arrived with "Happy First Anniversary" elegantly scripted in chocolate across the plate—a sweet, personalized flourish that had us beaming and toasting to many more years together. The flavors in that tiramisu? Silky, coffee-infused bliss with just the right hint of mascarpone cream.
In a city full of dining options, Vito's Chop House rises above as the pinnacle of exceptional food and service. If you're seeking a spot for a special celebration or simply an extraordinary meal, look no further—this place delivers romance on a plate. We can't wait to return. Five stars aren't enough; it's a heartfelt 10/10!
And a special thank you to...
Read moreIt started well. Service was attentive and friendly. Our cocktails arrived and were very good. It was a bit of a wait for the server to return but still ok. We both ordered appetizers and their 8oz fillet mignon, medium rare, and a bottle of wine. Our Apps came quickly and were good but our wine was late to arrive. Still ok. Then our steaks arrived and they were both overcooked. One was medium well and the other well done. It took a couple minutes or flag someone down but the manager came over and apologized and said they would refire the steaks. Great. However, it took 8-10 minutes for us to get new steaks, which were much closer to medium rare, but now our apps, potatoes, mushrooms and brussel sprouts were cold so now they said they would redo them. So now we had the choice of eating our steaks while they were hot or waiting for our sides. We chose to eat our steaks, which were good! However, by the time we got our new sides, we were almost done our steaks. We were certainly frustrated by this and when the sides came and the manager said she was sorry but would buy us dessert we were underwhelmed.
When we asked for the bill the manager came back with the bill and offered us a gift card for our next visit. We explained that we were tourist leaving the next day and could not use it but she said “then give it to someone else” and walked away. Shocking
Sorry for the long note but it is necessary to understand how disrespectful management was and their lack of regard for their customers.
Do not spend your $$ here. Their food was ok but it is not cheap and they have no real regard for customer service or any accountability for their poor service.
Some senior person in a suit came by our table shortly after we received our cocktails to check that all was well but we never saw him again. Not after our steaks had to be returned or after our sides had to be redone. It was a charade of caring that did not survive a real issue.
Run to another...
