Ordered a bride's bouquet weeks before my daughter's wedding to be picked up the morning of the event. Another daughter went to pick it up and they hadn't made it at all. They put an extremely basic boquet together, charged us hundreds of dollars and sent her on her way.
It took about 4 weeks to get a complete refund. They had to cut a check and send it by mail.
Not one person apologized. Not one person accepted accountability or even empathized for the lack of a proper bridal boquet for my daughter to hold for all the wedding day pictures.
I have to reiterate the same sentiments expressed by multiple customers. Very snobbish, conceited and even rude on varying levels. I had to talk to multiple people on several occasions to get my refund. The store manager, Lexa, was actually the most unprofessional of them all. She called my daughter a few hours after she was just married, on her wedding day, to discuss her satisfaction with the boquet after I had called between the wedding and luncheon to talk to the florist and ask for a refund. My daughter said Lexa made her feel very uncomfortable and my daughter had to keep telling her to talk to "my mom."
The general manager, Kathy, finally got a paper check sent but she never really apoligized for this horrible incident. She just said things like, "I'm sorry you were not satisfied." Same as all the rest.
Pictures are of the "bride's boquet" Just so sad and disappointed that this happened. I spoke with several people without incident about this except for Lexa who was so mean that she...
Read moreThis is a review for their event services. I hosted my wedding here in Oct. 2021 (Yes I'm a year late for writing a review, lol.) and it was easily one of the best decisions I've ever made. I cannot say enough good things about Doug! He made the planning so easy and was stellar to work with. He was even nice enough to cut the cake when our catering service dipped out earlier than they were supposed to which meant so much to me. C&T is such an amazing place to host a wedding. Not only is it beautiful, but they make so many things easier for you on your big day. They handle everything from moving chairs and tables, centerpieces, on-site additional rentals, you name it and they can do it in-house! And the prices are quite fair, as well. It makes a world of difference to not have to worry about the small things, it made it so myself, my family and guests all had a wonderful time celebrating rather than stressing about "stuff." A close friend recently was married elsewhere that was more expensive with 0% of the helpfulness that C&T offers, and honestly that experience made me appreciate my choice to go with C&T a year ago even more. Thank you C&T for making my wedding so wonderful, it's still a major talking point for my family and friends a year later to say how beautiful and FUN the wedding was. And a big shout out to Doug for being...
Read moreDO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING OR RECEPTION AT CACTUS & TROPICALS IN DRAPER! Save your money and go anywhere but here. Honestly. Colleen and her staff are some of the rudest, arrogant, condescending and uncooperative people in the business I've come across. I have been a professional wedding emcee for several years now and I've never experienced such poor responsiveness, unaccountability and such terrible customer service. Bring a back-up mic in case their wireless microphone doesn't work due to their unstable satellite/antenna (which they are not responsible for, according to Colleen, because they "can't control the weather") or just make sure your wedding official can shout your wedding vows loudly. Have more guests show up than you accounted for? Have them stand because they won't accommodate extra tables or chairs for you. (Actually they will, you just have to pay extra for it.) Oh, and bring an umbrella to avoid getting dripped on from their super leaky ceiling that falls on your clothing and on your food. The guests literally had puddles of dirty ceiling water on their tables. And did they do anything about it? Wipe them down, offer an apology, anything? Nope. They completely ignored them! When I addressed these concerns with Colleen, she curtly responded with a fake smile, "That's not my problem. You pay for...
