We just recently moved to the area and decided to try this place out. We ordered two combination meals - one with orange chicken and the other with garlic chicken. When we got home and started eating, we came to find that the garlic chicken was incredibly spicy and had no garlic flavor whatsoever. We assumed we had gotten the wrong meal by mistake and I ran back to exchange it really quick. I showed them what we’d gotten and explained that it was super spicy and had no garlic flavor. They told me “That is the garlic chicken - it’s very spicy.” I then explained again that it had no garlic flavor and was shocked when the reply was “there is no garlic in the garlic chicken.” I repeated that back....”the garlic chicken has no garlic” and the reply was “that is correct. Everyone cooks differently.” The experience was ridiculous and a bit comical haha. The Orange chicken was fine, but we won’t be eating here again. We almost ordered the broccoli beef. Glad we didn’t because it probably would just have been beef - because, you know, it’s called broccoli beef, but it doesn’t have broccoli since “everyone cooks...
Read moreMy family is new to the area and we decided to check this place out. My husband ordered the orange chicken and I got the garlic chicken. When we got home and started eating, the garlic chicken was crazy spicy and had no garlic flavor. We assumed we’d just been given the wrong meal and I am a whimp when it comes to spicy food. I asked my husband to run it back to exchange it for the right meal. When he went back and explained that the meal was very spicy and didn’t taste at all like garlic, he was told that the garlic chicken is very spicy and that it has no garlic. What? He had them repeat that back to him to make sure everyone was on the same page and was told the same thing, “The garlic chicken has no garlic. Everyone cooks differently.” Our family all thought the orange chicken was fine, but we won’t be eating there again. We prefer food that comes with the advertised, named...
Read moreBeen eating here for nearly 5 years- in the beginning we always received a fresh well made chicken combo dinner, whether it be General Tsao, Pon Pon, Orange or Sweet and Sour. Over the last 12-18 months we would randomly receive low quality chicken with any of the above combo’s - gristly, no real meat and soft greasy mostly bread product. However, on occasion we would still receive the real nice properly made chicken in our combos and this kept us trying Janbo once again. Well, the recipe has now changed completely over to the cheap, I don’t even know what part of the chicken I’m eating product. Customer service has always been lacking and now their food is too. What a shame....we will be taking our business elsewhere permanently. Good luck with your new recipe Janbo...
