Update: (4/23/2024)
Bring on the machines! Honestly, I thought I couldn’t get worse. Non-existent staff, filthy tables and floors, still not getting full fries. By the way, why am I taking a “dine in” table number if you are going to yell out the number and walk away?
At this point I am ordering through a machine anyway, might as well get rid of the staff entirely. The kiosk is at least responsive.
ATTN. Franchise owner, I know this is a prime location, but can you do something to train your staff on basic customer service instead of hiding in the kitchen avoiding eye contact? It is not a far drive to a neighboring McD’s and they at least know how to say hello and have a presence in the dining room. Not that people have high expectations for McDonalds, but could you just show a smidge of effort?

"Oh don't worry about my kids milk you just threw on the ground (knowingly) before gong to get the other items. I got it".
I can appreciate that Covid has put a strain on everyone, but this location could really benefit from some basic customer service training/people skills. I have been a regular here since the location opened. It has been sad to see such a steep and steady decline over the past couple years.
The person they have at the counter is there 50% of the time and when she is there, it feels like she has been told she is not allowed to interact with customers unless approached. No smile, no "what can I get for you", not even a "hello". Has covid really robbed us of the ability to interact face to face?
We have resolved that there is only one place to get service and that is one of the two interactive kiosks (sadly the machines in this place seem to be the friendliest and most helpful employees.....welcome to the future?). Before completing your order (Dine-in selected), the kiosk will prompt you to enter in the number of a table flag and take it with you to your table so they can find you and bring it out to you. Heads up! don't look away from the screen because it will briefly display your order number and rarely print your receipt for reference. They WILL NOT bring it to your table and after this happening consistently I am fairly certain they themselves don't know how to read the orders they are filling as a dine in order is always filled as a to go order in a bag. Make sure you don't walk away from the counter either, they will throw (yes, throw) your order on the counter casually say your number and disappear without a trace (If you have ordered drinks, yo will have to endure 5 minutes of waiting for someone to emerge from the back and then raising your voice to get them to acknowledge you before retreating again).
Now I realize this is McDonalds, but if you are going to force automation on to your customers, you had better train your employees to at least be aware of the needs of you customers. You should not have to watch your food get cold while you strain to get someone to complete your order.
Last note: Whether it is laziness or they are trying to give less without people noticing, lets talk about the fries. When the box is not properly unfolded, it only holds about 2/3 of the fries it should. If it is laziness charge me less for the fries. If it is an attempt to claw back a little more profit, unfold the dang box, fill that mother up and charge me a little more for a full box of fries. The printed fries on the inside of the box to help it look more full don't...
Read moreWhatever you do, avoid this McDonalds. No less than 5 times have they shorted my order or just plain got it wrong. The food here is consistently made with less ingredients. The sweet tea was even water down intentionally to reduce cost at the expense of the customer. I ordered a double jalapeño burger and surprise surprise, they left out one of the patties and were annoyed when i pointed it out to them. On a separate occasion going thru the drive thru i was asked to wait which by itself is OK, as i watched 5 cars complete orders on the station next to me, i then asked what the hold up was. I was forced to wait 5 more minutes with no apology or explanation and i was treated rudely during the order. I chose to leave and this is the last time i will visit. I given them too many chances and at every opportunity they fail. If i see the reviews improve I will give them another chance. (Update) downgrading to zero stars after continued failures. I walked in to give them yet another opportunity to show me some improvement and I was disappointed. All but one of the staff are Mexican and non seem to understand English well at all. It took not only myself but the customer in line behind me to explain that I wanted a cup of I've dream. She had to fetch a manager even and still managed to mess up the order. I finally had to give up and go thru the drive thru just so I could complete my order. No offence to Mexicans, my concern is that the company should know that if there is a language problem, you don't place that employee in job that's critical you speak and understand the language of the customer. I won't ever return here no matter how desperate I may get. By the time I finally was done with all this ordering my ice cream was melted and the whip...
Read moreOur visit this morning (a Sunday morning, around 10am, not busy inside or in the drive through) was lacking. My husband stood around for several minutes waiting for someone to take his order because the menu items we needed were on the a la carté menu, which is unavailable on the kiosks. The manager, who was standing at the bagging area bagging food for the drive thru, acted as though coming to the register to take the order was a huge inconvenience. We ended up just ordering on the kiosk anyway, as the way the menu items were rung up was going to be more expensive. We stood around for a long time waiting for our food, which we were taking to go, while order after order went out the drive thru window. Now, I know that corporate monitors drive thru output and not in-store output, and I get it - but we just weren't a priority to any of the employees. Another woman came in and needed to be helped at the register as she was paying with cash and the manager ignored her for a really long time before finally taking her order.
On top of all of this, the restaurant was not clean. There were fries on the floor (at 10am - which means they were left there from at least the previous day), many tables that had crumbs and sticky spots, and the bathrooms were not clean. In fact, when I looked at the bathroom log, there was just a giant checkmark through all the times? No initials, no indication the bathrooms had been cleaned that day or any day previous. My husband and I have both worked at McDonald's in the past and we know it can be a rough job, but to ignore your front counter customers as well as the cleanliness of your dining room and restrooms makes it appear as though you don't want customers in your store. I hope management can turn...
