This Wendy's use to be my Wendy's of choice. It has now gone to the worst Wendy's! Employee's don't want to take orders. I was the only one in the store & still couldn't get waited on. Finally I left & went to drive through. Still waited in line a long time. The person that took my order got my order wrong. I had to tell her 3x's! My Spouce's order was a simple single with cheese extra pickles. She gives me the meal. I said no I just want a single with cheese Xtra pickle, not the meal. Then she gives me fries. I said no, just a single with cheese, Xtra pickle. She then adds a drink. I repeated my Spouse's order. By the way, the entrance door has been broke at least a year! I'm not going back to this Wendy's. So disappointed in this store. It went from the best Wendy's to the worst. I will drive a little further & go to the one on Randall Rd in Elgin. Don't go to the one on McLean. Bad service & place...

As someone who has worked in the service industry for 10-12 years, as a manager, I would’ve gotten in my car with the correct food, and drove the 1.5 miles to make it right. This is a constant issue at this location. It seems the staff is just careless and doesn’t bother to check anything. A bag with my receipt tapes directly to it, yet the contents don’t match what the receipt says at all…. It’s really amazing how such simple things get screwed up on a regular basis. I did not even want a refund, I more so wanted someone to just bring us the food we actually ordered…. Read moreI roll up to the window this morning order my meal and ask for a medium cherry coke. They ring it up and I notice the only thing that changes to medium is the fries. I get up to the window and correct the order all good. The reason I now will never stop here is what happened next. I try to correct it stating this the main reason for me stopping and she argues that I never asked for a medium coke. We argue back and forth which is extremely bad customer service even if the customer isn’t right you shouldn’t argue with them. The funny thing is in her other ear is an off brand air pod.
