Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Durango

Always clean inside and super friendly but just once I'd love them to get my order right. This is a copy of my other review but eat here! I gave them five stars but it whoever hires most of the help gets all of the credit because they definitely emphasize service because even though it's not always accurate, the employees are always awesome -- in particular Ian and Lucas. In spite of the great service, it helps to watch them make your sandwich if they're not busy because these guys are so busy that they're on autopilot and don't always notice if one strays from the normal ingredients. First the guy put mayo on my sub and after I pointed it out, it tried to put vinegar and oil on it but I caught him again but in fixing that, he removed the onion that he'd already put on and I had to ask him for that. I took my eyes off of the guy to pay my bill and he forgot the peppers. It's frustrating because it's written down right in front of them. Regardless, they're friendly and accommodating and I'd recommend this store above any other sandwich shoppe in town but if you resort to "brand X," go to their south store in town and hope that Michale or Gene are working. In town for the night, decided to grab a sandwich here after a long drive. 7:30pm on a Sunday night and I was informed by the young man that they were no longer taking orders for the night. While I was in the parking lot, on my phone, trying to find somewhere else to get food, I witnessed 2 males walk in less than 10 mins later, order, and wait for their food. I was too upset to go back inside and had to leave to pickup my food order that I already placed elsewhere. I called a bit later to find out what time they closed and was told 9pm, I asked if they were still taking orders, and I was told yes. I asked why the young man told me they were no longer taking orders for the night and I was put on the phone with him. He argued that he did not say that, said that he told me he couldn't take my order at that time because he didn't have any bread ready.(Which is not what I was told.) I tried asking why he didn't just say that in the first place, and I would have waited. He kept arguing that he didn't say they were done taking orders for the night, but that is exactly what he told me. Not a good end...

Sandwiches are gross they're not customizable and they spread all this mustard with seeds all over your sandwich in between every layer of meat to the point when you grab that to take a bite you get mustard squirting all over the place is disgusting. I want ever eat there again I mistakenly thought I was going to Jersey subs and it was the only thing open at the time and the 2 employees thought they were being bothered and/or burdened by my order they were very dreary and look like they awoken from the dead or came from the graveyard they need better looking nicer and friendlier more professional employs with customize of all toppings that you can see they hide everything behind you and show you these giant jars of mustard and pickles and junk 's on their sandwich unless you can see it. You only good thing I have I can say is that the bread was soft and tasty other than that they need to have way more variety and let you control your own sandwich experience by the way every sandwich is cold if you're looking for something warm and hot or comfort food this is not the place!...
