We love this company and their Chocolates. Here they clearly need to work on customer service. I was with my friend and her four kids, so we had our hands full to say the least. We got two caramel apples and one of the girls handed them to us in the middle of paying. We realized they were not cut and when we asked to have them cut where told another girl said they could not take them back behind the counter. At first it seemed like she was going to make an exception then she became noticeably irritated when we explained that we weren't even asked of we would have liked them cut, stating "you have to ask for them to be cut." Great customer service would have been to offer knowing we could not get that option after taking them. Great customer service would have been apologizing for that not being explained before giving us the apples. It's so sad to see such poor representation of a great company. It literally ruined our overall experience. I hope she learns some empathy and will practice excellence...
Read moreVery disappointed with the service. I arrived about 7:40 pm, I knew they closed at 8pm because I had to use maps to get there. Lol however when I walked in I could tell she was unhappy and then states we are closing soon. Then goes on to cleaning windows, not helping me. I had never been there before, and said that to her. I kept asking questions about all the different types. By the time I checked out I was so upset and apologized for coming in. I could tell I was not wanted. Maybe they should say we close at 8 however if you come in past 7:30 pm you will not get a welcoming service. She gives me a discount as if that would matter. How long does it really take to help one person look though the glass cabinets. Not worth the few peices of chocolate for $15 bucks. Buy a tee shirt or souvenir and a Hershey'sbar. Let them keep all the fancy stuck up better then someone...
Read moreI ordered a frozen choc banana. The boy then proceeded to unwrap the plastic from it and handle the banana with his bare hands. I advised I wanted a different one since he had touched it without gloves. It’s very bad food handling practice. He then dramatically throws it in the trash and mumbles something. I asked him what he said “nothing”. I asked for a manager he said “I am”. Then laughs and said “not really”. He unwraps a new banana and gives it to me. I then speak to the actual manager. Tell her he had very bad food handling practices and an even worse attitude. I leave, then take a bite of the banana only to find he left about 1/3 of the plastic wrap on the banana under the chocolate. Threw it in the trash, I don’t need to eat plastic wrap.
