Right in Town, newly updated and super clean! The front staff is really friendly and will fix anything pronto and make you feel like you really matter. The exercise room and free washer and dryers are across from the front desk. If you need more detergent you can get it at the front desk. There is a free parking lot but late at night it does get filled up if your one of the last ones in. I am handicapped and those spaces were always filled up fast. The rooms are small for a Wyndham so go online if that is an issue. Has full kitchen set of glasses, silverware, pots, etc. Had great coffee and made free downstairs every morning if you didn't feel like making it. Yes, I would stay there again without a doubt.
(I would not go on the super slow TRAIN ride again though. It was ricketey, uncomfortably, and super s-l-o-w. A nice picnic somewhere not too far treasure hunting would have been better. The accommodations were outstanding and the staff, specifically Alex Coumerilh, Jennifer Keith, Danzig Davis, Brani Whitmore and Latifa Dee were exceptional! They were “pitch perfect” – it almost felt like there were family! (In my opinion they all should be promoted!) Our accommodations were perfect due to everything being in one building, it has a full kitchen with a king bed and queen pullout and a little patio. The kitchen is well stocked with the basic tools. We have been able to cook most of our meals inside.|The location is nothing short of spectacular, nestled in the foothills of the San Juan mountains. It is walking distance to all shops and restaurants! Our week was spent doing the following which I highly recommend. Mesa Verde National Park, Durango Hot Springs, Durango Silverton small gauge railroad, Silverton, Ouray, Telluride, Million Dollar Road, Ridgway, Museums (in every town filled with wonderful history and artifacts), mine tours - all with breath taking scenery! We went in late May and the weather was perfect – in fact we played in the snow in the...
