This is THE new sushi spot in town you NEED to try!
I ordered takeout via phone and the gentleman who took my order was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke very clearly - which I greatly appreciated. We ordered 4 rolls and it only took 15 minutes for our order on a Friday evening!
The actual restaurant is in a small hole-in-the-wall spot off Eagle Road with picnic tables for seating, so don't go here expecting a fancy upscale sushi bar. I personally love the limited seating, as I feel it gives the chef enough time to produce fresh, extremely high quality sushi for each customer.
My boyfriend and I have a very high bar for sushi, and this place passes with flying colors! Everything was fresh and artfully crafted, and the to-go packaging was secure so all of the rolls looked perfect when we got home. The pick-up process was easy and we didn't have to wait in line which was awesome. The same guy who took my order grabbed my takeout, and he was just as nice in person as he was over the phone!
I really enjoyed the variety of flavors in each roll, and they actually withstood being dipped in soy sauce without falling apart. My personal favorite was the Crunchy California Roll, and I also highly recommend the Philly, Mango, Dynamite, and Dragon rolls. Overall, it was a fantastic first time experience and we can't wait to return soon!
*UPDATE - November 2022: Went back recently to dine-in and it was just as great as last time! AND they've added beautiful artwork to the walls, which really adds to the...

Located off Eagle on Rivershore Dr., opposite Riverside Dr., it took us a few minutes to find it. It is located next to Happy Teriyaki but the signage is so minimal. There is a small sign on the door, otherwise I did not see any other.
As has been detailed by other reviewers, it is a small restaurant, with only a handful of basic wooden tables inside and two half picnic tables outside. Very plain decor, no ambience. Fortunately, we are retired and came on a Friday shortly after they opened at 11. There was only one other couple dining in, and a lone man came a little later.
We were helped by a nice young Caucasian man who provided good service. The only thing was, he clarified both my order and my wife's, but still made a mistake on one of her sushi rolls, though he realized right when he brought it out and returned with the right order fairly quickly.
The first thing I appreciated was the prices. I ordered a rainbow roll for $12 and a spicy tuna roll (10 piece) for $8. That is very reasonable! My wife ordered a crunchy roll and another roll. We thought the rolls were very good and high quality.
Kingfisher gets great reviews on both Yelp and Google. For now, this is our go-to sushi spot (we are new to the Treasure Valley and...

If you’re looking for a place that delivers sushi fresh enough to make you forget you’re not oceanfront, this is it. Glory Sushi is glorious—no exaggeration. I bring every sushi-lover I know here. It’s my go-to test to see if someone really gets good sushi.
This time we branched out with two new rolls: • Red Dragon Roll – spicy, rich, and beautifully balanced. • Crunchy Mango Roll – sweet, crisp, and totally addictive (just look at it!).
Our usuals? Spicy Cali, Dynamite, and their mango roll. Always fresh, always a hit.
And before you start hating, I’m from the other coast—you know, the one The Beach Boys didn’t sing about. #GoGators
Bonus points for the kindness: my five-year-old daughter was on a mission to pick every piece of avocado out of our rolls (you know the vibe). The staff didn’t blink—they brought her a simple plate of rice and sliced avocado. Sweetest thing....
