Great Food. Obliterates Subway. But it's a mixed bag every time I go to a Jersey Mikes Subs. (I've never typed a review for any sub shop) First off The price has to be changing, and most things can be forgiven if they give some more normal prices.
Mini is probably a joke. Regular is a bigger joke, $10! Giant Is almost $17+ after Tax. Yeah and sure enough I looked it up. Giant supposed be around $13 but they are charging way more.
It should be priced at $4-5 Mini, Regular $7 & Giant should be $12-13. So this is one of those places that if you order something you never had or know how to order, they kind of shame you by keep asking what you want on it. I just said, " I just want a #8 the way it is, They ask me again. I said JUst the WAY it's supposed to be made w/ just lettuce". She almost puts Onions on a Club sub that has Bacon, turkey, mayo. It doesn't say that on the menu at all! Who puts Raw Onion on bacon Turkey Mayo Sandwich.
Also all 3 employees disappeared for a while in middle of making people sandwiches. They said nothing either. We are all waiting for 7 mins or so.
The prices really make it unappealing. So much so to override the quality. Wawa & Quickchek are better. or just order from a Diner or restaurant.
4 Stars because the food is too good. All they need is better prices and more understanding staff. If we seem like we don't know what to get on it. JUST MAKE the DAMn sandwhich. Especially when we tell you the number and said just way it is.
FYI if Giant was $12-13.. More People would buy two of those when walking in. So can feed your friends and family. The Regular is embarrassing. I thought it was a mistake and wasn't...
Read moreHere's the Cliff Notes version before I get into it. Amazing crew, clean store & bathroom, quality products! I rarely go to Jersey Mike's. The subs are always good, but this time was the most fun I've ever had. Unfamiliar with the menu it took me a little while to order. Also, I am extremely particular on how the sandwich was to be made. I split a giant #43 (philly-chipotle) with one other person. After all that back and forth, the crew did not miss one step, they were EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING, and worked together, like a WELL OILED MACHINE. I can guess who the manager, or most senior employee was, but no one was wearing name tags so I just figured I'd call everyone MIKE lol I've worked in restaurants for years and to see everybody work together with so much much unity, I would have to say it's got to be a good work environment. It radiated out to me as the customer that they were having a good time and really took pride in their work. I'm gonna post pictures of our sandwiches, we may have piled on too many toppings to produce good photos, but don't be fooled it was a 100% delicious! Food temperatures were perfect. #crisp #clean #fresh #friendly
p.s. they offer a 15%...
Read moreA quite disappointing experience. I had 1 customer ahead of me at the location. I asked for the original Italian on regular wheat bread and the lady was fairly polite to start me off. The biggest miss was there were no customers only myself and 1 other and 3 staff that made mistakes as I moved along the line. I asked for extra cheese 3x to emphasize I wanted extra cheese and that did not happen. The cheese is also sliced razor thin at this location vs others I have visited. There’s already barely enough cheese on a sandwich this should not be their way to save on food cost and make the customer pay with poor qty/quality. Next, I told the sandwich dresser Mike’s way with extra juices, mayo, banana peppers and jalapeños. I did not receive any mayo, he asked me what I meant by extra juices(perhaps poor training) as well only 2-3 banana peppers/jalapenos on the sandwich. It was very disappointing to have half of the sandwich you ask for with non smiling/greeting staff at an already slow period at the location. I get it, things happen and we all have days although at least make the sandwich...
