Subway — Restaurant in East Wenatchee

I'm honestly really sad about this, because my family went to this exact Subway so many times when I was growing up. Unfortunately, it just seems to not be what it used to be at all. Went in there last night with my wife, and despite being hours from close, the entire dining area was shut down. The soda machine was out of order, they were out of the bread I wanted, they were out of the chocolate chip cookies I wanted... Just had the air of simply not caring what-so-ever. Added bonus, the "six inch" spicy Italian I ordered came out a kind of sad, wimpy little cigar of a sandwich. For scale, I wear a men's large glove, so pretty standard sized hand.

I really miss this Subway being the fun and awesome place I remember from growing up. Please, guys, try to get some...

The food is good like at any Subway. The staff is friendly. The prices are crazy-high (IMHO) and when I presented a valid/current coupon when going to pay, I was told they just recently stopped taking coupons. (I thought she was kidding at first since they'd taken them from me on a previous visit, but she apologized and said it was a new rule for their store).

The sandwich they made for me was taken back and discarded. With the coupon the sandwich was $5.99. Without it would be over $14. I visited on 8/16, coupon expires 8/20.

Still kind of shocked that they took the coupons for a prior visit but suddenly no longer. Could have at least waited until the end of the campaign and then put signs on their doors so customers don't waste time and they...

The sandwiches were good and the staff accommodating. However, we ordered a meat and cheese tray for a family reunion. It was a great solution rather than worry about preparing something. They did not do as we requested. They made individual sandwiches. It looked beautiful but some of our family are gluten intolerant. We had no time to have them prepare this to our liking so we had to accept it. ( They requested 24 hours in the first place.) I contacted the national number and they contacted the local branch. The local manager was supposed to contact me for a discount or other options. They never did, so apparently they weren't interested in making it right. Or gluten intolerant people don't...
