This particular McDonald's is a shame to the franchise. For me, rarely is food correctly filled as ordered. Quality is standard to McDonald's corporation. But quantity... order 3 medium size French fries and only get 3 half filled containers. AND NO, there were literally just a few fries at the bottom of the bag. Order a double cheeseburger dry, no condiments. Simple. Right? Wrong! I go through the drive thru and check my order. I stop out front where they normally have you wait if they are still working on your order. Have one of my friends go in and ask for my order to be corrected. I have back issues, so standing in line is not appealing to me. ALSO!!! No one there is happy to work there!!! It's not always easy to get good employees but if treated with respect, you are more likely to receive respect. McDonald's corporation used to hold higher standards for employees. Is that no longer the case? Equal opportunity only if you are favored by the managers. Or friends with the managers. I know a few that have worked at this location and the one at 25th Street, Easton PA. One employee was cut hours that were filled by a friend of a manager. But his talent for cleaning the grill when inspection was due. Well he had a 4 hr shift covering peak dinner time and was told to cook and have grill cleaned inspection worthy before end of shift at 7 pm. On time he was scheduled off for 3 days. Near end of shift, time to clean grill. I'm not saying what was found behind the grill. MCDONALD'S CORPORATION YOU NEED TO STEP UP! I'M ASHAMED OF YOU. THIS IS HOW YOU REPRESENT AN AMERICAN LIFE. Where...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would. I went through the drive through and got a cheeseburger and a medium diet. As I work in fast food and have toasted bread before I know how a McDonald’s cheeseburger bun should look. After waiting at the drive through window for about 6 minutes while I watched employees arguing with eachother the entire time about working instead of actually doing their job I finally got my food. I opened up my burger and the bun was black which I knew means the bun was burnt(maybe it got stuck in the bread toaster I get it it happens but when it does you throw away the bun and start again). I went inside to try to get my order corrected to where I had to wait 10 minutes overhearing employees gossiping about tomato plants and complaining about being at work. After the 10 minutes I proceeded to ask if anyone was actually working here, because all the employees were just standing around. Then one employee came up to the register and admitted the burger bun was burnt and they would make me a new one. At that time I threw out the burnt burger and waited for my fresh one. Without even seeing the original burger a manager came up to me and told me that’s how it’s supposed to look, at that point I told the manager I work in fast food there’s a difference between burnt and toasted, not to mention her employee already said it was burnt, and she didn’t even look for herself. Like I said I work in fast food so I know the bun was burnt. I wasn’t even mad about it until I walked into the establishment to correct it and they straight up told me I was...
Read moreWe were not overly impressed with this location. The food was good, but the rest rooms were dirty and our server was surly to say the least.
Let me say, I'm not a picky guy, but I expect at least a courteous server and reasonably prompt service.
While we ordered our food, the girl taking our order acted like she had some place she'd rather be. My son ordered from the all-day breakfast menu. We waited for our food (a while). Finally, the girl comes up and asks, half-heartedly, if we want the hashbrown with our breakfast meal. I simply said, if it comes with it, then I'd like it.
Turns out she didn't really want to cook up the single hash brown. She dropped it in and told me it would be another 4-5 minutes while it cooked. I mentioned I would have asked for fries if I'd known. She rolled her eyes and turned to take another order without saying another word.
The hash brown finished cooking and another employee helpfully pulled it from the fryer to stop the beeping, leaving it for her to take care of. We waited through a few more customers while she took and filled other orders - the whole time watching our food sit and get cold.
She finally, and unceremoniously, handed us our bags of food. We couldn't wait to get out of there and back on the road. By then, the food was cold.
We go to Mc Donalds all the time, so we know the service varies by location. This place really needs to step it up. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the owners need to do some work here. How will they know unless...
