We placed a relatively small catering order today for a birthday for a staff member. We requested that it be delivered at 11:45am. With the confirmation, we were giving a time of 12:30-12:45pm. We called and were told that the earlier time wasn’t possible, but shifted it to 12:15. Ok, things happen. That’s completely understandable.

When at 12:30pm we were still waiting, we called to check in. At first the phone just rang. Calling back, the phone was answered with a “Yea?” I stated that I was just calling to check on the status of a catering order and was immediately cut off and told, “My driver just left with it. We had 16 orders today. I’m down two drivers.” And then promptly hung up. Never asked where I was from or even gave me much of a chance to speak.

Our food arrived a little before 1pm. It hardly seemed like enough for 20 people, we were missing several side items, and were drowning in chips.

While we certainly understand the shortage of staff or employees not showing up, there is no excuse for the rudeness. The tardiness of the meal could have very easily been understood and forgiven with just a few moments of etiquette and an actual attempt at customer service. Both were lacking.

In contrast, the driver who dropped off our food was lovely. Smiling, apologetic… maybe the rest of the staff should take a lesson from him.

The food was a tasty treat for our staff and birthday girl, albeit almost an hour late and after most of our staff had taken a lunch break with no food. We had to shift people around to cover classrooms so teachers could actually eat.

We shall be taking our business elsewhere...

I've been a Qdoba's customers for years and have always enjoyed the cheese quesadillas. I would add pico de gallo and black beans to the quesadilla. I always have the guacamole even though I do not like cilantro. I wish they would either make it without or with parsley but that's a personal preference. Qdoba's is not like Chipotle's who uses cilantro I believe to cover up the taste of the other food they serve. Some people like me taste soap in cilantro and it's gross. Sure glad they have brown rice without it. This time I ordered black beans and brown rice on the side. Neither the beans or the rice were fully cooked, they left a grainy texture in my mouth. There was absolutely no liquid in the black beans what made it even worse. When I cook black beans at home I get an almost gravy type liquid and you know you're beans are going to be soft. The quesadilla was good as usual but I think I counted four pieces of tomato in the amount of pico de gallo they gave me. I could only eat about a third of the meal but later tonight I'm planning to cook the beans and rice until they're tender and put the quesadilla in the toaster oven with a little extra cheese and a generous serving of Pico. I do not eat at fast food restaurants, Chipotle's, Taco Bell taco bell, McDonald's, Burger King , Arby's Etc. When traveling I tell my husband the only restaurant we can stop at would be a Qdoba's. He is thankful that at least I like Qdoba's and he can get something to eat too. Not giving up on you but hoping for a better...

It's definitely roll the dice when you come to this location. Sometimes you can go walk in and get incredible service and solid portions.

When my husband and I stopped in on Saturday, there were two girls working the counter. One girl appeared to be in training and she was the one to make my bowl. I asked for a burrito bowl, she had to look to the other employee to which the other employee pointed out the bowls. I asked for brown rice and she started scooping white rice before the other employee corrected her. I told her no beans, I asked for steak and I got a half scoop of steak and she added another quarter scoop. This was on top of the pitful amount of rice I got. Got plenty of queso, and plenty of salsa and other stuff. My husband had the more seasoned employee and his bowl was overflowing... my bowl was not there.

The new girl glared as the more seasoned employee rang us out. It was uncomfortable. I'm upset. Nearly $30 for one steak and one chicken bowl and I had to basically have second dinner. Not happy. I will continue to go to this location as the food itself is generally solid.

Please work with your employees on portion sizes. I should have had you make the second dinner for me. Normally, when I get food here for dinner, it fills me up for the rest of the night....

We love Qdoba generally but this location needs new management. All the recent reviews are horrible and I know why. I went in on a slow hour and ordered 3 burritos, I asked for light beans and the employee (you g African American man with short dreads) didn't acknowledge me at all and poured a huge scoop of beans on my "light bean" burrito. He was pretty rude with the rest of my orders I got a cup of tortilla soup that was half full, they left half of the container empty. For the price I hoped they'd fill it to the top. They were also out of Pico, one of the best ingredients in a burrito... They said I could wait but it would be hours. When I asked if I could get a discount or coupon or SOMETHING because they didn't have my favorite ingredient they said no. They said there'd absolutely nothing they could do. Such a bad experience. I was nice, it wasn't busy, and when they said no to me I smiled and wished them a good day, despite zero help. The shift manager (white kid with long blonde hair) was nice but was no help. Read the reviews before you go to this location. I wish I could have half an hour of my time back and have just gone to another location.

Lady that works there (heavier set Hispanic lady, black hair) was rude. Every ingredient that she put on my quesadilla was thrown on, not spread evenly, very little meat and mostly on one side, so I asked for double meat at that point and only filled the void left where there was no meat. Left the quesadilla on for not even a minute and tried to take it out with the cheese not even close to being melted…. Gave me a bit of attitude as she closed it and squished the press down. Didn’t ask if it was for here or to go, gave me all the scraps of chips at the bottom of the tub… as she is ringing me up, she goes back on her phone, watching her show. She doesn’t even look at me to say thanks, and doesn’t hand me my receipt. I had to ask her for it, and she crumpled part of it and handed it to me not even acknowledging me. The restaurant is dirty, the line is a mess and tables are a mess inside and out. I had to wipe off food from a table outside just to sit down… I used to work here years ago, sad to see what kind of employees represent the company now.

I usually love Qdoba, but today’s experience was disconcerting. When I walked in, there were no other customers and two people behind the counter, but the counter was filthy. Despite the lack of rush, they were not cleaning and there was spilled food all over. Many of the containers had spilled into other containers. I ordered my food and at the end saw the girl undo what looked like used tin foil (crunched up in a ball with holes in it) and fit it over my bowl. When I went to get utensils and napkins, that counter was also filthy and had some sort of a red stain all over it. When I got to my car and started eating my bowl, the pork was cold and the rice had crunchy pieces. Overall, a very disappointing visit. I have worked as a cook before at a different restaurant and never would have been allowed to keep my food containers that busy, even in the middle of a rush. There’s no excuse for not cleaning between lunch and dinner rushes.
