Clean restaurant with clean single stall restrooms that are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. Their sandwiches are made with quality ingredients but tend to be on the smaller side in comparison to other sandwich competitors. Their sandwiches are good but their menu seems to change regularly and unfortunately some of their best sandwiches tend to be discontinued. Two sandwiches that were the whole reason we would choose Pickleman's were the Meatball Sub and the Tuna Sandwich formerly #18, and both have been discontinued. We have also tried their #10 Cuban, #5 Turkey Bacon, and the #12 Smokehouse Stack with nothing bad to say about those sandwiches. Their Garlic Cheese Bread is delicious and my wife's favorite dish from this restaurant. They also carry Pizza, Salads and even soup. My wife also loves their lemonade. Pickleman's does have an app with the nice feature of adjusting the level of seasoning on things like the garlic cheese bread. Customer service has always been great at this location and the management is outstanding. In the past we have had an issue with a picked up to go order and the manager on duty went above and beyond to correct the problem. They even delivered the correct sandwich to our house at no additional cost. Which is another great feature that makes Pickleman's better then other sandwich competitors is that they actually deliver to your house without using a third party delivery service. Lastly Pickleman's is awesome because they will occasionally do special promotions that honor veterans by offering veterans a free sandwich on Veterans Day or even Memorial Day with proof of ID. On Memorial Day they even included veteran spouses as also being eligible for a free sandwich which was greatly appreciated by...
Read moreThe food was super good, but we left with mixed thoughts. I had the Italian Club and it was really, really good. Everyone else liked their respective sammies. While the bread was good, I don't think it was baked in-house as you can't smell freshly baked bread and the hoagie rolls were stacked in plastic bags. The counter is really high and the kids can't see what's going on back there. The interior was kind of uninviting and not as fun as the website makes it seem. I do give props to the company's corporate web team. My only thoughts of the interior are that it's sort of like a spruced up Subway (not the food, just the interior.) At least hit us with the overwhelming smell of baked bread when we open the door to enter as I think that would be more inviting. The staff members were very nice and helpful and had good recommendations on what to order. I think with the word "cafe" in the establishment name, I almost think I had a completely different expectation of the place. I wasn't expecting sit-down dine-in service, but I don't think I was expecting what it was. For the price we paid for my family of five, I just can't help but think there...
Read moreWent for take out of the spicy pork mac n cheese bowl for two. Also got 2 pink lemonades. More jalapeños than pork in the mac n cheese bowl. The jalapenos were more sour than spicy. The mac n cheese WASNT FRESH.. and pulled pork? What pulled pork.. i could probably say something bout it if they werent so cheap with the serving. Total came out 25$ with $3 tip. For 28$ you can get more and BETTER tasting food out of a damn food truck or any mom n pop tex mex, asian fusion, firehouse subs etc - basically any place within and without this type of food. What a waste of an appetite- and i hadnt had breakfast either so i was having it on an empty stomach - in this state you tend to like whatever… even then i would say avoid at all costs. Save your money. Save your appetite for something tastier with bigger portions.
Ps - there was a small bug in the lemonade. I just poured it out and refilled. I didnt want to make a scene bout it coz im not as squeamish bout that kinda stuff. But for bland over-priced food —— HECK NO! This was take out so i didnt get a chance to give them my mind....
