e that surrounds some seating. The other part of the restaurant reminded me of a cafeteria how it was set up. It was busy they had a large party plus several other tables. The service was slow probably because of the larger party. The wait staff was very nice though. Ok let's talk about the food. There was four of us and they brought out two plates and didn't bring the tortillas. They brought the 3rd dish and it was incorrect dish. They came back with the correct dish and the 4th dish probably ten minutes later. They brought the tortillas as well and the other two dishes were cold by the time they came out. I don't understand why places don't bring out all the food at once. It's just awkward when people are eating and the others don't have their food. I don't like cold food and I wasn't about to eat my dish without the tortillas. I wasn't happy. I also asked if the fajitas came out on a sizzling Blackstone and they said yes and they came out on a plate. If it was on the stone, it would've still been hot by the time they brought the tortillas out. The consensus around the table was the food was average, the service was slow and we were there for 1.5 hours too long. I didn't get a picture of the 4th dish.

Pros: - really fresh, handmade and delicious tortillas - big space, great for bigger parties - decor is classy, clean and warm - ambiance - good ventilation - gf/df, vegetarian, vegan options clearly stated on menu - staff is warm & welcoming Cons: - price (even in the more expensive area of Edmonds, we found the price was too inflated for beans/rice/tacos) - taste (this is probably more a personal con but we felt that both dishes lacked that...je ne sais quoi, that...umpf, that taste that makes us do the 'happy dance' while we eat.) - added charges - $2 was added to our bill bc we requested jalapeños. No mention of an added charge. It may have been on the menu but by this point, we didn't have the menu to refer to. It was a disappointment as I had brought a friend who was visiting from out of town and she said she won't soon forget this meal. I believe it wasn't exactly a compliment. In essence, our mouths were bored, and our wallets were significantly lighter. I'm sure there's some improvement that could be made on offering salt, fresh jalapeños, limes, etc, to get the party started...without adding additional money to the check. Just some food for thought...

We ducked in on a rainy afternoon and had the most wonderful time! We got a table with a fireplace to warm up and we had great views of the flowers on the patio. The happy hour mezcal margaritas are excellent and come out quickly. We got the grande nachos, guacamole, and a really amazing spinach tamale with verde salsa. There are tons of vegetarian and vegan options and our waiter, Luis, made sure that we had everything we needed to get in on the great happy hour deals before 6pm rolled around. After a while, he put on Monday Night Football so we could watch the game while we sipped our drinks. The atmosphere was so cozy and beautiful and we'll be back soon to try all of the seasonal menu options. I can't recommend Las Brisas highly enough!!

Terrible. I live locally and have been here 4 times, each time worse than the last. Why would I continue to go you might ask...? Well, my options are limited in this small community, however, I did hope that it would improve.

The 1st time my wife and I visited was shortly after grand opening and the food was mediocre at best and the service was poor. We attributed the experience to the fact that the place just opened and decided to give it another chance.

The next 2 times we visited, service was mediocre but we both ended up with upset stomachs later that evening so we decided we would not return.

Unfortunately, though, over a year later we did return. My wife stated something to the effect that it must have improved by now. Our server was great, but the food.... oh boy...

I was literally given a plate of lettuce lol. I am not confrontational, and in fact I would generally consider myself very easy going, but I was astonished. When my server came to check on us, I asked her to take a look at my plate and she stood there shamefully and said "I know." I pushed the shredded lettuce around and asked her where the meat was, or the cheese for that matter, the poor woman stood there cringing and just shaking her head while saying "I know."

I felt terrible for my server who was clearly aware of what she had gotten herself into by accepting a position with this absolute joke of an establishment. She offered to comp my meal which I declined due to the fact that this is not a monetary grudge I have with this place; in a society that so readily accepts mediocrity, Las Brisas fails to meet even that standard. Ultimately, the server comped my meal anyways and apologized emphatically and I tipped her the difference because I appreciated her acknowledging how embarrassing the dish was.

There are plenty of mediocre and better places to eat around Edmonds, however Las Brisas is not one of them. Save your money and disappointment and head anywhere else. The Cheesemonger next door is great, Even Taki Tiki beats this place. If you have to have "Mexican" food, try a local street taco off hwy 99 or even Taco Bell for God's sake.

1 Star for the server, 0 Stars for the...

Tried twice and won't be back. The first time we waited forever to get our food and drinks. I don't remember what I ordered but I do know I should have ordered something else. The drinks were very fancy, in other words, expensive and no alcohol.

Tonight we went back to meet some friends. I tried the Camarones a la Diabla, should have ordered something else. The description says shrimp in SPICY HOT salsa. I asked how hot and was told hotter than their table salsa. When it arrived it was a plate full of mushrooms with 8 shrimp. I hate mushrooms but decided to try the shrimp anyway. They tasted like bong water and we're not spicy. I drown them in the table salsa and finished the shrimp but told the server I would not have ordered it if the description had listed it. She apologized and brought us the bill.

I didn't complain because I had already decided not to come back, but our guests called the manager over to complain about the slow service and poor quality of their drinks. They mentioned my meal and asked for a free dessert. I asked for the fried ice cream, should have ordered something else. IT WASN'T EVEN FRIED ICE CREAM, just vanilla ice cream rolled in coconut. If they could have gotten that right I wouldn't be writing this review and just...
