Rocky's Bordertown Cantina and Grill — Restaurant in El Paso

I recently dined at Rocky's BorderTown Cantina and Grill and had a somewhat mixed experience. The food was undeniably delicious, leaving a positive impression on my taste buds. However, the service aspect left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant having fewer than 10 patrons during my visit, I was surprised to find myself walking to the bar to place my order. While I can understand a busy establishment necessitating such a practice, it seemed unnecessary given the current circumstances. Furthermore, the wait time for my burger was quite extended, clocking in at 17+ minutes (from watching the timer on the football game). Just passing through El Paso but staying for a couple of days as I make a cross country trek from Arizona to Florida. Just driving around the city when I saw this place and decided to stop. I am so glad I did ! Even as an outsider, I was made to feel like a regular immediately. From the start the bartender, Amber I believe her name was, greeted with a very welcoming demeanor. The locals in the place were also very welcoming and we exchanged purchases of drinks. One particular patron, James, was funny and pleasant to talk to. If you are looking for a great time, look no further than Rocky's Bordertown Cantina and Grill. This bar doesn't look like much from the outside but once you step inside it's a whole different world. This establishment has great entertainment, great bartenders and food. Sarah served me drinks all night, all while watching a heartwarming love story unfold before our eyes.
