Im always up for trying new sushi spots. This sushi place is ok at best. Let's start with the miso soup. It was pretty bland and didn't taste very good. In the back I saw a miso soup machine which looked like a auto ice cream machine. It wasn't freshly cooked/ served. Seems like machine makes it for you or keeps it warm in there. The sushi I had was ok. I went there around 12 yesterday. There were 3 to 4 people working. The place looks like a chipotle/ fast food sushi spot. The mangoes were canned that they were using for sushi rolls. The line was fairly long and service was slow. While the sushi was ok at best what triggered me was when I got my order and sat down. As I was finishing up my soup, the cashier came upto me and asked what roll I ordered. I told her I ordered a Philadelphia roll. Guess they need up my order so she brought me the right roll and took back the roll I thought I had ordered. Although I didn't touch the sushi she took back, I had touched the wasabi and mixed it in my soy sauce. I honestly hope they didn't serve it to the person who ordered it originally. If food sits in front of someone else a good restaurant wouldn't serve it to anyone else due to health and safety. So idk what exactly they did with that sushi but looks like their kitchen staff needs much better organization and communication. This could've been an episode out of kitchen nightmares. I am not planning to go back here which sucks because I do love sushi.

Finally ventured in here. Came here with the Queen, son, youngest daughter. Ordered the custom made poke bowl with spicy tuna, daughter ordered the California roll with miso soup, som ordered a poke bowl with teriyaki chicken while the wife ordered some rolls. Not your traditional sushi ya which is cool. Wayyyyyy better in terms of flavor. At least their miso soup has that umami taste. They actually served tempura sauce with their tempura unlike Sunny's. Guess it originated from Linda Vista, San Diego, CA. One of my stomping grounds as a sushi chef out there. Good to see SD sushi influence movin out this way. Will come again. Too bad there isn't one closer to post. Recommendation thanks goes out to my old platoon leader, CPT D. Origato gozimasu.

This was by far the worst sushi I've ever eaten. Not to mention the teriyaki chicken is nothing more than the Tyson fully cooked sliced chicken you find in the frozen food section with bottled cheap teriyaki sauce on top. The tuna on my sushi burrito was filled with silver "strings " you can't chew.... I was really looking forward to sushi for dinner tonight and I'm still hungry and totally disappointed. Total waste of $46. For anybody reading this I wouldn't even waste your time or money. Y'all deserve negative stars on this one

The food is good but their costumer service is terrible to say the least. My co-workers and I ordered pick up to eat here for our lunch break. We arrived at around 7PM, it was busy and there were 2 guys working. One blonde, colored eyes, pierced ears, one dark curly hair, light skin brown eyes. I'm only describing them because neither had name tags. Our orders were ready but they were both busy taking/prepping for people coming in so we waited and when we got our food we went to eat. As we got our drinks we mentioned to one of the employees that there was no ice, he only said "yeah there's no ice" so we just laughed because there was no effort whatsoever to fix the issue. We went to sit and shortly after he came and told us "we're short staffed so we're closing the lobby" I asked "what time are you closing?" "Right now but take your time" There was another table dining in next to us and he did not go tell them anything, therefore, we figured we could finish and then leave. We continued to eat and shortly after, the other employee (the blonde one) came and asked us to leave, told us that the lobby was closed because they were short staffed and at the time they were to-go only. I then asked him why he hadn't asked the table next to us to leave or anything. He said "they were already dining before we started closing the lobby" which made no sense, because my coworkers and I had already started eating when they told us they were closing the lobby. Nevertheless, the employees seemed rude so we decided to leave, we didn't finish our meal. Overall, this treatment made no sense, they kicked us (only us) out for no apparent reason if they didn't have it together in the store. All the times I've been there, there's only been 2 employees, so I don't understand how they were...

I don’t know why I keep coming here. I like the sushi but not the service. I enjoy being able to customize the sushi but every time I come I’ve had a bad service experience. I’ve chucked up the experience to maybe they’re new. The next time was just outright rude from a male staff member, he basically yelled at us when we were telling him what we wanted “that’s the next guy” like I get the assembly line but how do we know when to stop and move on to the next person. This last and final time was when they’re open for curbside pickup. After getting down with my mask on they advised me to go back to my car and wait for them to bring my order out. We waited 20+ minutes and after watching multiple people drive up after us placing their order in person then going back to their cars to wait they all got their orders promptly. So I called the number on the sign. No one answers. I get this is new for everyone but then don’t play in the space of curbside if you can’t adapt to this new way of living. Moving on to another sushi...
