I’d have his over ice cream. It’s absolutely amazing. Okay, so maybe they are slightly overpriced. They’re still great. The staff is always incredibly nice. I recommend coconut, sweet, but not too sweet. Almost like vanilla. Clearly the superior flavor, but my sister would argue lemon is the superior flavor. She’s wrong. I’ve seen some reviews saying there’s a chocolate flavor, and I’ve never seen one for the 13 years I’ve been in the area, maybe there is, but I’ve never seen it. I may update the review if I do see it. There’s also some reviews saying it’s not open. The place is only open during the summer and in clear weather. They also have pretzel sticks, which are probably a bit underpriced, but go surprisingly well with Italian ice....
Read moreI've grown up in the area, their slogan, "The pride of Peters town", is the truth. I love this place, the people are always friendly and the ice is delicious. My favorite is the lemon ice and my wife agrees. It's just so refreshing on a hot summer day.
That being said, without exaggeration, all their flavors are amazing. You can't go wrong, the only downside is because the ice is made fresh once it's gone, it's gone. If you're in the area you have to stop here in the summer. Forget Ralph's or Rita's, nothing...

Definitely they use simple ingredients and you can tell it's made the traditional way! The pineapple flavor had actual bits of pineapple in it!! I got the pineapple and coconut mix for a piña coloda blend of sweet and tart!! VERY DELICIOUS!!!
