Everything that I tasted was bland and just so-so. I expect Mexican foods & salsa to make my tastbuds swirl in delight. The chips should be crunchy, with a clean, corn taste. Instead, they tasted either stale, or fried in dirty grease.

I'm a medium spicy eater, whereas my husband likes "the hotter the better". We asked for the hot salsa to go with the complimentary chips. What was brought out was nowhere "hot", maybe a cross between mild & medium. This should have given us an idea of what to come; but alas, we stayed & ordered.

To put the entire meal in proportion, and as my husband said: "The food tasted like it came from dirty dishwater".

It's a disappointment seeing what had been a great restaurant with excellent food, into what it's become now. Personally, I don't understand why the owner doesn't see how badly the restaurant has become; when it went from waiting for a table, to having 3 tables during the same time table on a...

Delicious food. Warm, welcoming atmosphere. Best Mexican food in Elizabethtown!

We got one of their nachos and one of their enchilada options. The nachos had the perfect amount of toppings, and they were more than happy to add an additional topping at our request. The enchiladas perfectly cooked, and had just the right amount of filler: enough to make a well-balanced dish, but not so much it was falling out everywhere.

We also got a side of guacamole, and you can actually tell it was made with real vegetables instead of just tasting like salt. Same with the complementary salsa. The hot salsa actually had a little heat to it (not a ton, but I like ghost peppers so take that into consideration).

The server was attentive, but not smothering. The staff were all friendly and polite.

Definitely worth...

My boyfriend and I left shortly after ordering when we noticed a Good Sized COCKROACH at our table, hiding in the trim. As soon as we got our food we asked for a to-go box. We mentioned it to the manager and he was nice enough to take $10.00 off our meal but honestly as a culinary professional, any other place would have nixed the bill entirely. This was supposed to be a nice date for us, but sadly my first time here will be mine and his last visit. I'm not really sure how this place has as nice of a rating as it does. For the creature to have made it that far out into the sitting area, i can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Luckily, there are plenty of other, hopefully cleaner, mexican restaurants...

Oh my wow! These Fish Tacos were the bomb. Cooked perfectly & fully loaded. I highly recommend their tomatillo salsa. It's rich spicy flavor was the best I've had in a very long time. The servicer was so helpful in answering our menu questions, keeping drinks refilled and making sure we had everything we needed. High five for that! I can't wait to stop in again to try more of their menu. My husband had the Loco Burito and couldn't eat all of it. He said he especially liked their cheese sauce and refried beans. I enjoyed the two types of salsa & chips appetizer. I usually have to add a little salt to the salsa but not from here. It tasted great 👍

The service was a bit slow at times, but the food and atmosphere more than made up the difference. The salsa had a nice flavor, especially when the spicy heat hots the back of your tongue. The queso was creamy and had the right amount of heat from chiles. The tortilla chips were crispy and light with the right amount of salt. My wife couldn't stop telling me how delicious her Fiesta Quesadilla was. The Carnitas I had was absolutely delicious. Tender marinated pork with grilled onions and topped with their homemade queso made this the perfect lunch on a cold, late winter day.

I had the toro montado, which was pretty good, the onions were a little bland but the steak was in point, however... my wife had chorizo with pollo. Instead of chorizo, they gave her an Italian sausage. They gave Luigi instead or Luis. The pechuga was meh, rice was bland on both plates, tortillas tasted like the Walmart brand. But the service was great, also there was a random best value ranch bottle on the table.
