I have had, embarrassingly enough, most of their menu at this point. I was super excited when they opened up as I am a big fan of tea in general. I really wish they had some popping boba too. So far the experiences that I've had have been wonderful, just some opening hiccups, but they couldn't control shipping issues which caused delays for a particular flavors, so I'm not taking off any stars for things that are out of their control. I do feel like they need to have more explanation for people that are new to drinking these teas. My only criticism is I feel like the're missed opportunities to educate the community on this kind of new experience for the area. As I have been in several times and although the staff is willing to answer questions about everything in a kind and patient manner I feel like a little bit of education or preemptive conversation could be helpful. For example if they're just standing around watching their customers look at the menu having such a hard time choosing because it's a new experience, I would offer some advice based on what they maybe interested in or ask them what flavor profiles they like and then go from there. Sometimes the customers need a minute to look at the menu and that's fine, but you can hear the conversation all around and they're genuinely confused on what to order. I feel like they might be losing potential customers because of this. I personally truly need this not to happen because I absolutely love this place and want to...
Read moreI stopped by Daboba in Elizabethtown for the first time and had mixed feelings about the experience. The brown sugar boba tea was excellent, rich, smooth, and perfectly sweet. If you're looking for good bubble tea in town, this is the only place to get it.
Unfortunately, the Pho was disappointing. It lacked the authentic and flavor that makes this Vietnamese dish so beloved. As Vietnamese, I am very familiar with traditional Pho, I felt this version missed the mark entirely. It was overpriced and lacked the soul of a proper Vietnamese bowl. Sadly, it may give people the wrong impression of what Pho should taste like.
The rice with grilled pork was also underwhelming. The sauce dis not taste right. The meat was dry, and the overall dish didn’t live up to the vibrant, savory flavors you'd expect from Vietnamese cuisine.
The owners and cooks are not Vietnamese, which likely contributes to the lack of authenticity in the Vietnamese food offerings. I’d recommend stopping by just for the boba tea, but if you're craving real Vietnamese food, you may want to...
Read moreThis place is phenomenal! The service is amazing and the atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed. I have gotten the turkey croissant, turkey hoagie, and both the cheeseburger and egg burger with fries; all were PHENOMENAL. The food is always hot and fresh! Drinks wise, the boba is made fresh in house every morning. Theres also a great variety of teas and so many ways to customize your drink. You can control the sweetness level and ice level of any drink you get. My favorite boba teas are the Thai milk tea and the Honey Golden Pearl Roasted Oolong milk tea. Both are addicting. The lemon lime seasons tea and the Winter Melon Green tea are also DELICIOUS! The fruit teas come with a yummy coconut jelly that has a great mouth feel. All in all, 10/10, 5 stars ⭐️ I LOVE Daboba and Houzin’s Sandwiches. You will always be met with a smile by the owner Kim. Definitely give Daboba a try if...
