Bean Cove — Restaurant in Elizabethtown

I’ve only had a chance to visit three times, so far, since I live in central Indiana, BUT each time was fantastic!

I find consistency to be one of my most important factors when frequenting food & drink establishments, & this beautiful coffee shop has nailed that: all three “Customer Drinks of the Week” I’ve ordered were expertly made to my specifications, the friendly service & (short) wait time was consistent, & the Peanut Butter Brick was just as sinfully delicious today as it was several months ago.

If you live in, near, or visit, E’town, KY, you’ve got to visit Nuts About Coffee. (And if you’re even remotely a Reese’s fan, you best try the PB Brick… like, now.) Also, drink wise, I’ve had the Nutty Nirvana, Bourbon Trail Cold Brew, & mega-tasty Caramel Coma (which I didn’t manage to photograph in June, so did it even happen?😂) & just wow. So so...

I've gone to Nuts About Coffee 3X this week. First time, met the owner, super sweet, good experience, great drink. Second time, had some random employee who was fine, just not very friendly or talkative, good drink. Today, a different random employee who wasn't friendly at all, and my drink was way too sweet. Trying to figure out how my flavored cold brew with milk was more expensive than my flavored latte, too.... There are very few food items available. Each time I was there, the options in the case were PB bar and muffin, and one day there was a bagel also. The atmosphere is nice enough but mostly typical strip mall coffee shop. I'm not sure what could be done to personalize it, maybe...

I’ve been wanting to try Nuts about Coffee for quite some time now. Finally gave them a try a couple days ago and again today. Both visits, the staff were very friendly and so welcoming. And the coffee exceeded expectations! Our second visit, my son had just had some bloodwork done and was feeling nauseous and lightheaded. They were so kind to him and gave him some water and offered him some juice. Such a warm and friendly environment. Right now I’m hooked on the salted caramel cold brew (it’s so smooth and tastes amazing) but I can’t wait to try more from the menu. My new favorite coffee shop! I love supporting...
